Anyone else feeling cheated that Sethos was presented as this badass polearm user in the Cyno quest and epic fight cutscene…and then we get this random Pew-Pew bow guy?

It's funny that you mention yoimiya because her artifact set works completely against his playstyle

starting from design ending with playstile he just feels terrible, at this point even if i just started the game and he would be best dps i would stay away from him

I appreciate the honest review, good breakdown.

A few things:
1. R5 scion of the blazing sun is a lot better than slingshot (if you get the battle pass. I understand not everyone does or even goes R5), especially since his charge attack pierces and can apply that bonus to every target pierced and the bonus last and recharges, funnily enough, every 10 seconds.
2. If you intend to use his CA and skill often, Atk is still important, as they will use his Atk multiplier + EM on top. Atk only doesn’t apply to his burst, which is a conversion
3. Dori is also very good with him as the constant stream of energy allows him to utilize both play styles at the same time.
4. Hyperbloom is crazy, as he can process blooms at will. Since he can’t use yelan or xingqui, his best bet is Furina. As for dendro, either nahida for dmg or Baizhu for safety. The double heals/shield + prototype Amber actually works pretty well for him. Then either Dori if you went nahida or ET if you went Baizhu. It’s actually really powerful, and makes his dmg and uptime unusually high for a 4 star.

The moment i touched WuWa and fought lvl 120 enemies with a lvl 40 character i had so much fun

That was the awakening i needed to keep my motivation to follow my "screw the meta" mindset. Some characters like Kaveh and Sethos are just too fun to pass on. And if i tickle the enemy, good. Ill tickle it to death. Ill build abyss teams when im in the mood because i have the characters for it anyways, but for now im having fun

You are biased as ever never mentioned the other support characters you are using are C6 that makes the dmg of a even 4 star 100K

There's no more point getting an building any new unit for this game for veteran players that pretty much max out the most useful units. WuWa is the new game. GI is essentially dead. HOYO could never that's 100% sure now aftee the latest update they made.

Genshin is full of great 4 stars with funny playstyles. The problem is, we only care about 4 star SSS supports or nothing, we only care about the 5 stars and thats it.
I play genshin sonce launch if i pull a 5 star dps i have to pull their signature too otherwise its just a waste and he/she is weaker than my previously owned.
I love gaming and triple crowned him on a whim, wgs, 70 160 crit ratio. Was happy to play with him for 3 days and its 40k skill plunges then got back to the 5 stars i alr own who do 90ks on normals 🥲

Maybe it’s cuz I have a low AR but I also have a higher leveled genshin acc with yelan and hu tao and I think he’s pretty good tbh also one of my fav playstyles as well

I saw Chinise videos him as DPS unit with Sara. Massive dos if you invest on him. Combine with Nahida and Kazuha for EM.

He is soo god when you try him out and when you got it its somehow below than what you expect

Build Shimenawa on him, and he'll counter himself

I build him with EM weapons and EM artifacts so far he is working pretty good for me

30 wishes until I hit guarantee for Clorinde and I got him 4 times, I don't want that deep voiced kid, just give me dupes for more pulls☠️

Somehow I still find him better than Clorinde
Not better damage dealer because we know they are both average, but he have diversity in his play style and thats great

And you know what? We can finally use that red stone material from sumeru dessert to ascend him

Its not that he has two conflicting playstyles; you play charge shot style when you have energy. When you run out of energy you play burst style....oh i see. You need energy for the burst...ohh i see.
