How Does MAGIC Do Against ALL BOSSES in Valheim? (Solo)

The only problem I have with the queen fight is that she spawns seekers waaaay too often. The seekers have resistance to all melee damage types and have no weaknesses. I feel like they're too tough of an enemy to be getting swarmed by constantly.

I felt like Moder and Queen were the hardest with magic. Yagluth and Bonemass went down fairly quick with an ice staff.

To be honest I think eitr needs to be unlocked before the bonemass fight, whether they reshuffle bonemass to make him after the mistlands or make the mistlands before him. Nobody can be expected to know just how much (non-blunt) physical res he has before fighting him and fire arrows don't do a whole hell of a lot against him. (that's pretty much the only elemental damage option the player has at that point in game)

I do like Valheim, but cannot get into the combat.
Especially coming to it after Wo Long & Sifu.
That fight with The Queen is an example: half an hour or more of kiting an enemy & doing chip damage is not how I wanna spend my time.
Luckily the building - something I rarely care about - is actually very satisfying.

queen drop is probably something that will help gather something in ashlands, tho i wonder.... will ashlands be the last biome??

Why do you have two fire staffs, but no shield or dead raiser?

Magic is weakest dps first 2 bosses dies before they even spawn against melee stop disinformation.

Oddly, I think the combo attacks with swords are more effective on the Queen than magic. All that kiting ends up with you fighting more of the minions, instead of the Queen.

It gets really bad when they split up, so your fire casts end up spending 35 eitr for 1 brood, and there're a lot of broods to deal with. It just leaves you out of eitr for attacking the Queen once you've finished with the ads, so you spend more time waiting for eitr regen while the Queen summons another cycle of ads

i truly did wish Moder had an instanced fight. like spawn in the occassional wolf and drake but dear god give me an instance for Moder

Main reason why Fire staff typically does more damage than ice is because it does both blunt and fire damage types. Personally, I think Ice staff deserves Frost and Pierce damage types because it shoots ice shards but oh well.

even if you manage to parry the bosses, they still wont get staggered.

i think moder needs a rework tbh

what level were your magic skills at?

3x ether food + Skeletons + Protection staff (for you and skellies) + queen buff = afk fight

Skeletons like archers are very effective against most of the bosses and they do more damage the higher skill you have.

elder is weak to fire and bonemass is weak to smash, moder i think is weak to fire and crush, so the fire staff just smokes almost every single boss. even the queen i was supprised at how it held up over frost staff and spinesnap combo. id freeze her with staff, then back up and range her. allowing my eitr and stamina to recharge while i use the opposite, and being more agile than full melee armour.

What are the foods you use?

edit: I think I'm gonna try this but blood magic only for the first 3 just to see how that does.
And I don't know if I'm the only one but I always feel guilty for killing Moder
