Baseball umpires are the absolute worst!

This is why I don't watch baseball anymore. When they introduce the electronic strike zone, ill watch again. And honestly some of the calls made it seem like the game is rigged.

some of those called strikes were outside all the way from the Pitcher to the catcher.. These umpires are blind and trying to hurry the game up. Time to replace them all.

Umpires themselves are making the case to go to some sort of automation calls behind the plate. I believe they are still needed on the field but home plate? Not really. Plays at the plate can easily be settled by replays.

Some of these MLB umpires are visually impaired, it’s nice that the league is doing so much for the less able.

Nobody expects a home plate umpire to be perfect every game, but these misses are absolutely brutal. Makes you wonder how the players manage to hold their tongues so often. If a wired court is good enough for tennis, then why won’t baseball go to a wired plate so that the strike zone is not only consistent, but totally accurate. The human element be damned…

Bad drivers kill people. Bad umpires ruin the game. Both of them must be replaced by robots, NOW

Two things in MLB now. ZERO accountability for MONEY and ZERO accountability for awful Umpiring. It's 2023 and it has NEVER been this terrible. Egos are completely out of control and the Puppet Commissioner is absolutely ZERO help. The only recourse is for people to walkout or just not go.

I know we were all taught to protect the plate with 2 strikes, but some of those calls are AWFUL.

Time to replace home plate umpires with machines. The lack of accountability for blown calls is unacceptable. MLB does not exist just to provide pay cheques for people who cannot do their job to a decent standard.

I have no love loss for umps but the players whom act as if they never struck out before need to grow up; on average they make more money in one year than the average working joe and Jane do in a life time.

Specialized glasses with strike zone frames on them may be a serious need for some visually impaired umps

They are not even intelligent enough to be embarrassed by all this. Having 4 umpires on the field in this day and age is beyond stupidity. OBVIOUSLY at least one umpire should be up in the booth, because then 99% of this stupidity/corruption would go away.

most of the vids are 1 particular ump... he sucks like a boeing turbojet engine. as do most the rest of them. the only reason we have umps in baseball anymore is to cheat a win or loss. they are worthless pawns in a game 20 years ahead of their ancient blind asses

I’m old school. I love the human element that permeates the game of baseball….or at least used to. MLB was much more enjoyable years ago.
