Help! When I click on Path the list shows up, but I am unable to highlight and choose Offset Path. What am I doing wrong?

I just tried. it doesn't work for me. Once I offset path and choose wider size nothing shows.

why is illustrator so hard to use, like photoshop is 10000 times better

Following these directions just turns my artwork into the outline. It would help if you added the small step of duplicating the artwork first. Other than that, thanks!

and at what point does this become a sticker.....clearly it looks like one....do can you export it to a 3rd party through illustrator or this is just how to create an outline because most sticker places do that automatically without having to pay for illustrator....

I've been repeating over and over but the outline isn't being created automatically as a layer which I can then move to the layer which have named "Cut Line". Does anyone have a solution?

I've been doing this the hard way all along. I was using a stroke and outlining it. Didn't always get a good result. This is so much better. Thanks Adobe!
