I just got mine from Sprint. I have not received the case through mail yet but it's on its way. I specifically picked this phone because the duel screen phones looked appealing to me but I didn't want to shell out the big bucks and I was worried I'd pay big money for a second screen, hate it, and be stuck with it. Lg formating their duel screen phone to be an OPTIONAL duel screen is a genius idea in my opinion because I can see myself using it while at home but I probably won't want to use it while shopping or running errands. That would make it feel far to clunky and large in my pocket. So the fact I can simply switch the phone into a case I purchased through Amazon for the phone only makes me extremely happy. I really wish more companies would give options like this when it comes to their flag ship phones.

Lg G3 G5 V30 user loved them all..went to Huawei p30 pro LOVE IT TOO.. but just got this one and gonna make it my daily.. I love LG and will always support them so they continue making phones.. Apple & Samsung monopoly will never see my money I am just too aware to be a sheep LOL

The only $700 price for this phone I've seen so far is from unreliable 3rd party sellers on Amazon or by activation on another network carrier. The phone unlocked and with no activation is $950 at Best Buy or Amazon. I want to get the G8X but I wouldn't change carriers or pay almost $1000 for it.

I just traded out my s10+ for the G8x. It was cheaper on my bill if I upgraded. I've had it 2 days and i have not gotten the dual screen yet. They have to mail it out. Just to let those "not so patient people" know lol. I have to wait 3-6 weeks.

I actually just ordered one for all my family members. No longer a Samsung fan. Love my Note 9 and such but give me a quad DAC.

The finger print scanner is pretty shit in my experience. I'm coming from the V20 having a good ass finger print scanner on the back of the phone. The subpar scanner is my 2nd biggest gripe about this phone.

I had received 4 updates on my lgv30 even my camera is updated and can go as bright as the lgv40.

If it came with a stylus it would be a winner. I expect to use 2 screens for productivity, but a true productivity boost requires a stylus IMHO. Shame.

I just wish LG would take updates serious. My V20 started on Nougat and almost did not get Oreo, and approximately 1 security update a year. Not acceptable.
Apart from that I love LG phones, especially the quad dac, and would buy without hesitation if only they would update their phones regularly.
