Delete spam WordPress users in bulk | Stop spam subscribers in WordPress signing up to your site

Quick question. When you unclick "Anyone can register" does that stop ALL new registrations or just the ones in the role box e.g. subscribers? I still want sign ups as customers, but most of my spam sign up as subscribers and I'd like to prevent anyone signing up as subscribers.
