Was looking at a Q8, Macan and X5. The Macan was a bit too small, although the drive was amazing, and lacked features. The Q8 is amazing but the interior was a bit less practical, although the best design of them all. The X5 was just wildly impressive. The drive is amazing and the power is noticeable. The m50i is obviously much more powerful but the x40i never feels under powered or slow. It's a great ride and the interior quality is great too.

BMW X5 40i does not come with M side mirrors; look closely, this one does! The X5 depicted here is most likely an X5 M50i with X5 40i badging. That's why it's even so loud!

Well, as owner of an X3 and a Range Rover Sport I'd say that british cars have always been slower or much slower than germans. And never match BMW in terms of polished engineering. Well, every country has its own traditions and priorities.

I own a X6 40i with Msport exhaust, even with that, my exhaust sound is not as loud as the X5 on the video ( and no pops). For me, that X5 is a stage 1 or stage 2 with direct exhaust line.

Firstly, X5 is in a higher category than the Velar. RR sports is for the X5 and X3 is for the Velar.
Secondly, there no M button in a M sport model. Even the M50i doesnt have an M mode. M modes are for M car only not m sport cars.😂

Just changed/upgraded my tires on my X5 x40i and holy lord. They come with H-rated RFT all-seasons.
