Does anyone know if these rules are still available anywhere? Would be interested in giving them a bash.
ОтветитьA game is broken if the rules only work when you have tons of terrain. Not every firefight has tons of terrain
ОтветитьAny chance of a bolt action tutorial?
Ответитьu so beige. beige muh favourite color.
ОтветитьThey play this along with other wargames at my local game shop. It's fun. I haven't played it in ages.
ОтветитьMore Crossfire content!
ОтветитьWe need more videos like this Mr Beige!!
ОтветитьWe need more crossfire videos
ОтветитьNice jumper. We used to play this as kids after seeing a similar thing on Why Don't You. Remember that?
Ответитьthis on google maps would be kind of cool
ОтветитьWhat scale are your figures lindy
ОтветитьLindy is such a damn creative, wonderful, kind, wild, smart dude.
ОтветитьGreat rules, use on our grass mats, great game!
ОтветитьWhy does Lindy have a LOTR thing in Finnish?
ОтветитьFantastic ramble!
ОтветитьIt's analog company of heroes
ОтветитьLloyd, is it possible to play Crossfire with the soldiers displayed on their individual bases or they need to be placed all together with three of them on just one base?
Because I think with the soldiers in their individual bases might slow the game a little, for all complication about handling them. But the question is how much?
What scale miniatures do you use?
ОтветитьSUTC Small Unit Tactical Combat by Michael Korns 1973
Double blind skirmish game WW2
Umpired
You don't know it but Arty does
And hated it then as it had stolen his relevance before Crossfire
Or ask John Conyers the author of a series of books Innovations in Wargaming
Yes,been there done that
You are way behind
I still come back this video time and again out of fascination. Wish youd come back to it in greater detail
ОтветитьMore more more
ОтветитьInitially I wondered why you did 'and not bucket loads of them either'.
Then I was talking to a friend who plays Warhammer, and he said that once he was playing a game where an attack required 25 dice.
Please play this in a video
ОтветитьThis guy is wearing a cricket shirt, has a gaming table in one of the rooms of his house (as a permanent fixture) and has a copy of munchkin on the shelf.. SUBSCRIBE! :P (hero)
Ответитьmy kink is middle aged men and expensive and elaborate wargames!
ОтветитьThis looks like a system I want to play!
ОтветитьOh boi nikolas has a lot of stuff in there
ОтветитьDear lindybeige
I would like to create my own table top game based in a post apocalyptic world but I'm not 100% set on the rules and so forth but would appreciate any ideas
Clean your room, Lindy
Ответитьso this is the predecessor of Bolt Action ?
Ответитьwhere have you gotten the stuff on the table?
ОтветитьThanks but i dont like it. Its to illusive.
ОтветитьI’m just starting to get into table top games like this because of this video, but I came back just cuz I’m having a bit of trouble laying out the terrain on my table. Is there any standard way to do this? Are there a number of lanes that it should have? Any tips will help out! Thanks!
ОтветитьHave you ever played Company of Heroes?
ОтветитьThere's no feeling like watching a lanky British dance instructor sell a wargame to you at 10 PM.
ОтветитьHave a look at War game red dragon or steel division great PC game, that are kinder like table top.
ОтветитьI'd get this and set it up. But I'd have no one to play it with. All my friends have the tactical knowledge of a slug.
ОтветитьThis sounds fun also I’ve been wanting to checkout H.G. Wells Little Wars. I feel you could use any scale for these type of rule sets for wargaming
Ответитьyeah ill pass on this system no thanks
ОтветитьLindy, 1v1 me Brits vs Germans, streets of Berlin!
ОтветитьWhere do I even get this stuff?
Ответитьcrossfire is like men of war assault squad 2 but in real life
ОтветитьIt's very big. It would make more sense to use a smaller scale.
ОтветитьIs this very similar or even compatible with Flames of War
ОтветитьI was thinking of collecting flames of war, this looks interesting too though :)
ОтветитьLindybeige, I'm genuinely curious how you never did a series on this :/
It IS a good tabletop game and your passionate enough about it to do one... and we desperately need one from the point of view of someone like you :P
(someone who's read enough to know which history books are fiction xD)
What computer games cause players to most think like a commander?
