Why did they not give a belt? Were they no belts in that era? Although 5 million is a lot even for today 1974 it would be around 100 million in today’s moneys as a house cost around 250k in today’s money while 10k back then

😂 Watching Foreman after a few rounds was the most pathetic thing in the ring I’d ever seen. To anyone who has their eyes open, and is willing to be honest, this fight was over WAY before the 8th round. Foreman was so exhausted he could barely even move. The man had never trained his body to withstand many rounds as he had previously annihilated all opponents and figured he’d do the same to Ali.

He spent more time leaning on the ropes than in previous fights.

Foreman lost every round, and to this day, the narrative of this fight was Ali was getting beaten. It just goes to show a lot in the history is narrated wrong

I really liked Joe commenting on the fight. He showed no hatred toward ALi and was unbiased, also accurate.

I have seen deluded casuals/fanboys say Mike Tyson would walk thrpugh prime Liston, Ali,, Frazier and George like he did handpicked cans and bums.
