I feel so bad for Davey after this and Coda, Coda just can’t bring himself to make games anymore because Davey was getting the credit for his games, and for Davey because he lost one of his friends because of his own selfishness in a way

I still remember that i write email to davey, but i don't think he will reply to it anyway, since it was almost been like, i dunno 5 years maybe.

When I first played through this game, I legitimately broke down in tears. I've never broken down in tears for a game.

The more I play this game the more I hate myself for seeing myself in the narrator. I feel guilty for doing the same things the narrator does to the creative works of people I idolize. I'm sorry, that doesn't fix anything does it?

I’ve seen the game and it’s I’m going to say happy scary and sad I literally cried at the end also what happened after this what happened to coda and I know this is not from that long ago also was coda just asking for a person to talk to and recognise her

Wow , this game is just so awesome , I didn’t played it bc I couldn’t buy it but I seen the gameplays and the videos of the meaning of it , and even if I am VERY late on this masterpiece it just came in my life in the perfect time, bc , all of my life I have been so sad for little things , and a few minutes before I discover this game I was thinking: why ? And I discover that I feel more miserable when something doesn’t go like I want , like being in a group and all that , but more deeply, bc when I am sad I always think : Someone Is gonna help me , this girl is gonna came to me and tell me that I am gonna be fine , bc they care about me , and , even if sometimes it’s true ( ironically just when I think that no one cares and I give up ) they just ignore most of the time , or just hate on me , wich makes me even more sad that I am alredy , and when I was thinking on that I discover that for make me feel protect I make fake predictions about other people reactions just to feel me good , to give my sadness a meaning, like : I am sad bc someone will notice and help me and This is gonna be a memorable moment , that’s why , bc I LOVE give things a meaning , but I couldn’t, and that just made me more sad , and I just thought: Damn , I really know my friends ? ( It’s was in the shower ) and then I discover this game , and it gave me the anwer , that THERE IS NO MEANING, sometimes things happen bc they happen , even if we can’t understand why , not everything have a meaning

Jesus this trailer is brilliant. It's like a microcausm of The Beginner's Guide itself: establishing a premise whist ignoring a blindingly obvious fact that you only really notice once you've finished the game and really think about it.

Thank you, Davey. This was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had in games.

I dont know if this makes me unmanly or smt but more than sadness i felt fear.
the concept of him closing himself in further and further inward was terrifying to me.
had chills every 3 seconds my of entire gameplay and no it was not comfortable

Geen traditioneel spel.

Het gaat over een gamemaker en zijn vriend. Deze vriend is de verteller van het verhaal. De gamemaker gebruikt zijn spellen als uitlaatklep. De vriend ziet deze spellen en maakt zich zorgen maar vindt ze ook prachtig. Hij laat deze spellen dus aan andere mensen zien, zogenaamd met goede bedoelingen. Dit was niet de bedoeling van de gamemaker, zij krijgen dus ruzie.
Punt van het spel: De verteller laat de spellen dus maar aan nog meer mensen zien, om zo de aandacht te trekken van veel mensen en hopelijk ook om het goed te kunnen maken met de betreffende gamemaker. Ondertussen verdient hij geld over de rug van het werk van iemand anders.

Alsof iemand zonder toestemming het dagboek van iemand anders online zet en er geld voor vraagt. Verschrikkelijk misselijkmakend.
