One thing I like about this series (Vol 2 does this too,But not as much) is the sound.
Everything sounds so good,The Hologran filter sounds really good,The clones voices are Nuch better than most others.

The jousting was because the speeders were too fast & possibly too solid to simply shoot. The lances were necessary

Man, I remember back whan this was airing, I hated the artstyle and wasn't into it even though I loved the clone wars. Now seeing it again as an adult, I still find the artstyle a little offputting, but its growing on me. The character's faces and movements are incredibly expressive, and the action is just superb. It knows exactly what its audience wants from it, and it delivers.

I like how the clone troopers are portrayed as highly trained and efficient at performing their military operations. It looks and feels like very realistic.

I vastly prefer this to the 2008 show for many reasons. The largest is the clones and in turn the republic actually seem like a competent military organization. You don't hear long speeches about expendability or being unique, You see competently trained men for a purpose doing their purpose. It feels like I'm actually watching battles in a war rather than a children's show. Furthermore, the villains are competent The general grievous in this series is scary. The general grievous and the CGI clone Wars is funny, they are not the same.

Never really saw this back in the day. Glad I watched it now. It’s like Samurai Jack, but Star Wars. Really great cartoon, and it sounds like some of the voice actors went on to the 3D version of Clone Wars like Obi-Wan and Padme. I love this animation style and wish they’d made more. Also, Mace Windu is a badass and it was cool to see him in action. They really should have sent him on more missions lol

This obviously takes place after attack of the clones besides this was way better than volume 2 better fights scenes and better surprises

The Clonetroopers were so much better than Stormtroopers . I guess all of that mind control really had a negative effect on the storm troopers combat effectiveness. Also did i see a Clone Trooper's armor actually stop a couple of blaster shots? Was the Empire cutting corners in Stormtrooper armor?

I just learned this has not been retconned to be canon. The dozens of books and merch? Fine those don't need to be canon. But this? When you have a talented director that was told specifically to make this in preparation for the blockbuster movie made. How you not make it canon at that point? It is already 99% of the way there! I don't mind it not being touched and expanded upon but not making it canon is absurd.

I love how Ventress' and Anakins fight ended in a way to hiw Luke would ALMOST, kill Anakin the same way.

If only the Clone Wars 2008 had the same level of subtle story telling and cool action sequences instead of being a teen drama I would probably finished it. Shame that Genndy didn't get more opportunities to make full fledged series.
The 2003 feels so natural with the movies, right at home.

Love the transition here from Empiral March to Anakin and Padme theme. The first half represents how badaas the clones are. But the second half represents that even though it may look cool, war is still tragic
