FIX Transitions not working in Final Cut Pro 10.6.2

They still haven't addressed it.

I am still running into this problem on FCP v10.6.5 and this workaround does not work. FCP says not enough space to create a transition then it will not create one.

When I use cross dissolve it applies it to the ends of the clip instead of between 2 clips :/

OMG ... I LOVE YOU!!! 😅😍 I was going crazy today fighting with FCP on almost every single transition. This fixes ONE of the issues. However, almost every single time it also gives me the error message "There is not enough extra media beyond the clip edges to create the transition. Do you want to overlap ... etc ..." Every single time I click "Create Transiiton" and every single time it does exactly what I want and expect it to do. Do you have a fix to keep this stupid error message from coming up??? (I've seen several videos on the topic and best solution is to simply clicke "Create Transition", but I get this error on almost every single transition and that's just insanity when there might be 100 transitions.) 😩
