New way to add shared calendars to Teams - Channel Calendars (2021)

Is there a way to create an event in the outlook calendar and have it sync with the teams channel calendar? Right now it only shows up on my personal teams calendar.

Unfortunately, there remains no simple way for items entered into a Teams channel calendar to be automatically sync'd to all Team (or Channel) members' Outlook. They have to jump into Teams and manually add those items to their calendars. Most people use Outlook as their primary email and calendar app. Adding steps always creates failure points. The more steps anyone has to go through to accomplish a thing, increases likelihood that thing will cease functioning. The entire purpose of Teams is to integrate and make seamless the coordination of effort and movement. If I already have identified who is part of the team, then I should simply be able to add an event in that team's calendar and it would automatically flow into all members' Outlook Calendar, and not require me to Invite anyone who is on that team. This is a huge fail of Microsoft, as far as I'm concerned.

Is there an option to view other people’s calendars in teams like you do in Outlook using Exchange??

This calendar is lacking quite a bit of necessary functionality. Its only function is to schedule Teams meetings. Those are not the only type of events that people put on their calendars. There is no reason for every event created to generate a Teams meeting. It is also lacking user permission settings. It is not always desired to allow all users to edit a calendar. And why is there no option for a month view? Viewing the calendar one week at a time, and having to scroll up and down because an entire 24-hour period does not fit on the screen, is very inefficient.

Not showing in my Admin Center - so I can't add the app to allow it/test it out. Is it not being released to everyone yet/or a phased relase?
