The PAB is right.

If it's not against state law there's nothing the city can do about it except clean up their act

The Union as usual alledge we did nothing wrong! Any police Department who investigate themselves and never find any wrong are liars. We see the videos of police wrongdoing every day! They say the investigation are incomplete. Police arrest and beat people on far less evidence everyday.

Police unions are all the same. Avoid transparency at all costs. Never show officers in a bad light, never admit to systemic corruption or malfeasance. Milk as many tax dollars out of the public as possible by spreading fear and disinformation. And above all else promote the lie that these officers have the most dangerous job in America. Look it up, their profession isn't even in the top 50.

Comical, the moment the police union rep stepped in front of a camera and began spouting bumper sticker talking points. "Activists" this and that - a third grader could have written his script. Even the Locust Club motto "Police Protect People.... We Protect Police" should be changed to "We Protect Police.... We Protect Police". Even as we witness through BWC, government and business surveillance recording, true activists recording, and witnesses iphone recordings police lie, begin to make up and refine stories to cover-up illegal and questionable interactions with citizens, scream "stop resisting" on citizens they've already rendered unconscious, laugh at the elderly and disabled, have a never-ending goalpost shift when it comes to where their authority begins and ends, make up laws on the spot, and throw investigatory acumen out the window once their egos are bruised. To the union rep - sing your tired old song at your union meetings because the public isn't buying your well-practiced victimhood.

Police union should not be in the business of telling the public what to do. Hold your officers accoutable. All of the officers should be held to a higher standard. Can the public defund the police union?

Of course the main strean supports the abusive police. This country is a wreck because of corruption being so wide spread and lying about it on the news every day isnt working anymore.

What's in the report? No need to find out. Frankly, WHAM can't be bothered with these details. Instead, let's have a 5 minute story debating whether transparency is a good thing and specifically how it should happen. They didn't even include a working link to the PAB reports.

Look at the wording on the Locust Club sign……Police Protect People, We Protect the Police. I guess they protect the police from reports and findings of the PAB that highlights police corruption and lack of accountability. The PAB needs teeth, not defunding by the very organization that the PAB is charged with holding accountable.
