It looks much better with the last set of wheels and tires!
I've always been into RC, but never owned one. If I take the plunge I think I'd go with an RC tank, I like tanks. Why do I own a jeep? Because I can't own/afford a tank.
You were speaking of painting your RC to match your 3b. What color is your 3b? Mine is an ugly orange and will one day repaint it. I do like the color of your 3b.
Thanks for the video.
Might be worth trying the 1.9 Prolines on the 2.2 yeah racing wheels.
Ответитьi would have never even considered 2.2's but now that i have seen them actually on the truck i like them the most
ОтветитьOlá não falo seu idioma mas compreendi sua explicação de diferença de pneus.
ОтветитьYeah 1.9 seems right. Would the larger wheels effect the drive train durability ?
ОтветитьHow can I send you a couple pictures of the setup that I have on my rock hobby Jeep?
ОтветитьLove the 1-9 The Landing Wheels look awesome have you seen the proline grunts like a military style tires I haven't tried a set but those might look pretty awesome on that
ОтветитьLove the look of the white Landies, but the 1.9's are a little too small for 1/6 scale. RC4WD used to have 2.2 Landies (not beadlocks & no longer in production). For me, something in the 4.75 to just over 5" is a good tire size with 2.2's. Stretching 1.9 4.75's over 2.2 wheels is an option.
Ответитьgreat video bro 🙃🙃😀
ОтветитьWeathered grey would look great. Like those 2.2's but the chunky 1.9's on landy wheels get my vote.
ОтветитьI'd say 1.9s or a shorter 2.2 tire for the stock body. For a big 2.2 you need some comp cuts on the tub lol
ОтветитьFuck this company they suck !its a scam don’t buy it
ОтветитьDoes the Jeep come with adjustable height?
ОтветитьNice video. I just received my Willy. It did 5, 1 second runs and then quit. Banggood don't respond. Advice anyone? Is it the esc or the receiver that quit?
ОтветитьThe smaller rc4wd tires look best hands down, big ones look terrible.
Ответитьyou're a very bad man! putting ideas of customisation of a truck before I even get it... 👍🍺🇬🇧.
ОтветитьWhen comparing the RocHobby jeep to the 1/6th scale Dragon models Jeep, Its is a tad smaller in width and length. Tires are a tad smaller as well but over all and awesome RC model for collecting.
ОтветитьWhat battery are you running on it
ОтветитьVery help full info w
ОтветитьWhat battery do i need to run help
ОтветитьDo you know of any driveline upgrades for rear my broke when i put trx4 2.2s
ОтветитьI kinda like the 1st and the 2.2 I have watch the other video with 2.2 it looks good but rubbed a little. I’m waiting on mine and did you have to add extension hub on the 2.2 tires or does fit well without extension?
ОтветитьThis is just the video I was looking for….. I’m looking at the Proline Grunt tires and thanks to you i found what type of rims i need…. This is very helpful.
ОтветитьAwesome build…. What adapter did you used to accommodate different tires? Thanks is it spacer?
ОтветитьI was smitten by 2.2 tyres seen on another video but in reality it looked like a small Jeep body perched on four big wheels, in fairness it was a (modified) Dragon plastic kit body on a owner design chassis. Then I watched your video and have ordered the 'pricy' 1.9 Landies and the Goodridge km3 tyres you approved of, don't know if I will leave the landies white or paint them the same colour as the jeep. Where did you get the wheel centre locking nut as the jeep originals don't look they will be suitable?
Ответить🥰🤩💫❤❤💚💙✌✌👏👏👏👏
ОтветитьShould get the leaf spring kit for more scale
ОтветитьThank you for creating this helpful video. You are a gentleman and a scholar.
p.s. pick a driver, then pick the color to suit. that aside…light blue. 😊
very useful video, but i miss something about the way you were be able to mount the hexagonal nuts for the new wheels, what have you had to modify? thank you.
ОтветитьLove it😊
ОтветитьDo you happen to still have the NDTs? I just got one of these used and want to leaf spring it and put the stock wheels and tires back on but the PO sold them.
ОтветитьHi, mate! Your video is just great, very educational.
Do 1.9 wheels fit well on the steering assembly?
Eu estou com um desses, vendendo barato. completão com peças e acessórios extras, controle, duas baterias, tuuuudo perfeito. Vendo por 2.500 - Frete por conta do comprador.
ОтветитьGreat share, just what I was looking for! Subbed
ОтветитьI have seen a lot of videos where they used 2.2" wheels and they look just awesome. But they have also changed the axles, so the wheels are a bit further away from the body. Great video and very inspiring to me 😄👍
ОтветитьI had similar issues finding the right fit for my 1/6 scale FMS Suzuki jimny. I have a nice set if 1.9 steel wheels that look the part but a 1.9 wheel on a sixth scale truck would be like running atv wheels on a full size vehicle. I ended up getting some 2.2 wheels and stretched some 1.9x4.75 rc4wd Milestar Patagonias . I have discovered that treal makes a 2.2 vintage style wheel that looks a lot like the landies but with six lugs. Thinking about ordering those
ОтветитьDid this wheel combo on the fj40, just did a washer on front left (driver) side to avoid wheel rub. Cool combo. 👍
ОтветитьLate to this party but the white steelies would be what, a 10" rim in 1/6 scale? 😃Pretty goofy looking along with the tire size and are clearly 1/10 scale (if truly 1/10 scale, barely anything is).
ОтветитьCurrently, I've got the RocHobby 1:6, an Axial SCX-10 XJ and an Axial SCX-6 Wrangler. The 1.9 KM2s look pretty good, IMO.
