Can we get an actual video with coaching soon 😂..🎉
ОтветитьAppreciate that recognition of limitations. Been playing a lot more Apex on top of full time work... I feel the gainzz but it is a time commitment when you work a lot and fit in social time 😅
Ответитьgreat vid!
ОтветитьPlease take this as constructive criticism: I find this title pretty disingenuous - it's not really a "how to"/guide and more just your thoughts on coaching/aim training, with a few adjacent ideas thrown in.
For your initial talk about time being an important limitation, the video is mostly fluff and I'm pretty sure the main points could be summarized in bullet points on a single uncrowded powerpoint slide and covered in less than half the time. That would have been an ok video and actually accomplished your stated goal of being as short as possible, but I watched the video on 1.5 speed and still feel my time was poorly invested - I should have just rewatched your Test Range video.
However, I think a better video would not have the goal of being short, and instead focused on specific, actionable advice, particularly regarding when/how aim coaching (or experimenting with settings/other strategies) may be more or less beneficial (still using your journey as a primary example). How did you (or how would one) identify your own limitations and set good goals? How does one recognize when a wall is hit and coaching may help? How did having a good coach help you refine goals or raise awareness of previously unknown weak points (and are there non-coaching alternatives/exercises that might assist in these areas before attempting coaching)? How did having a coach change your practice to be more time effective? I think attempts are made in this video to address these issues but it sacrifices a sufficient and meaningful level of detail for unnecessary brevity. I think these are important topics to cover and deserve their own longer video(s).
Changing topics - kudos to Voltaic/Matt, the coaching document does really seem to be excellent
Hey Dazs great video as always. I was wondering if you could cover some tips of playing on controller? I know it isn’t your department but maybe you had some advice for us out there. Much love ❤

ОтветитьM&k only
ОтветитьMy biggest issue is close fast strafing( tracking enemy when he going left/right quickly at ~20/23 m) - has anyone some drills in kovaak/aimlab for this?
ОтветитьWhen I first started playing Apex around season 2, I've had no legitimate mouse and keyboard shooting experience that would help me with Apex's time to kill and emphasis on tracking; even 1k hours of playing TF2 didn't help in the least bit. Somehow, I banged my head against the wall for 200 hours of Apex and felt miserable hot dropping and losing a majority of my 1v1s just to try and improve. I was not having fun, but didn't want to quit because I wanted to get better; I had about a .65 KDR. Then I came across your aimlabs playlist video you made a year ago and played your playlist for an hour a day, every day (on and off for some months). My enjoyment of Apex changed dramatically after 3 weeks of practicing in aimlabs. Thanks to your playlist, I found the sens I was comfortable with, my tracking improved, and I actually started to knock people down in game. I have 60 hours total in aimlabs now and now have a 1.20 KDR (100 kills more than deaths). I know I'm no lord at Apex, but for someone with absolutely 0 mouse and keyboard and FPS experience (unlike other PC players who either played a ton of Quake or Counter Strike before the birth of Battle Royal genre), seeing improvement in my aim vastly increased my enjoyment of the game. I'm continuing to aim train and look at other exercises to improve in certain aspects.
Thank you so very much for your videos. I'm happy that even if I wasn't an MnK player in my 20s, I can still work to hit my shots better in my 30s.
I'm getting my PC this weekend so I finally get to put to use your aiming videos!😊😊
PS: Tell Sera she is missed😊
I literally never comment on anything. But holy shit that first clip with the vantage snipe was fucking nasty great clip!! 🎉
ОтветитьIam on roller something that changes aim is ur thumb placement on the right stick and where u hold the roller and then it sensitivity and game knowledge comes in
ОтветитьHow manny hours a week do you think you put into aim training ?
ОтветитьVery nice video! I am very happy that you feel the coaching worked for you!
ОтветитьDude is the music the mine cart level or ice level music in Donkey Kong?
ОтветитьSomething that really helped with my accuracy with a mouse when I first started playing pc games was a game called Osu!. I love rhythm games so it was perfect for me, but it might not be for everyone. Just another resource for people to use. Started with barely being able to do 3 star songs and now can do 6-7 star songs (which is a massive gap in difficulty). Also helps with reaction time training. A sport that can actually improve your reaction time is Table Tennis. Sounds cheesy, but if you're playing that game seriously and against someone who can really play and send fast top spin balls you will see what I am talking about. They start off flying by you and you not even being able to see them well, much less move your hand in time, to it almost being like you see the ball in slow motion as it comes over the table. Just 2 of things I've used and enjoyed in my life to stay sharp even though I'm 30 now.
ОтветитьThat Donkey Kong country ots 😢😢
ОтветитьI do wish my teammates were more honest about what I do wrong. It might be because we are friends in real life but I have said something about how to improve to them so I still don’t get why they don’t. This video was a little eye opening.
ОтветитьI can't stress enough how much effort you put into these videos. Full time job and still training not just aim, positioning, game sense, yada yada yada.
For me watching other Apex content creators feels empty, yes I'm watching aim monsters, but I don't really learn anything from them and it kinda make me feel I won't ever be that good. Your channel on the other hand just feel so human, it focus so much on how everyone can become good with just time and effort. It's never about the tips and tricks and always about the journey and the insane amount of failure before succeeding.
I started watching your videos around a year ago because my aim was lacking (still lacking cause I never really put the effort to improve it not gonna lie, you made me a great igl tho) and stayed, because you always provide so much motivation on top of giving top tier analisis and research on how to improve and where to improve.
I respect you so much, keep the great job buddy :)
dazs is the best informative content creator. Thanks for the awesome video <3 Much love
