Nice job Steve! My roommates switch which was my old v2 one I gave since I had a oled one and his has the same problem it’s not bricked but dosent charge
ОтветитьI've always been scared to solder but you make it look so easy that I want to try on some already broke electronics.
ОтветитьI have a Xbox one controller that you might get a kick out of. the battery contacts is bent battery pack that powers it broken and the left trigger is having a problem and it’s a sob to get to charge in the first place lol love your stuff ! I hope your videos get the views, likes and subscribes they deserve.
Ответить$700 for a Switch?! That's a huge scam. I hate those rental places. Always makes more sense to just save up what you can over time and buy it for MSRP once you can afford it. You have to wait, sure, but I'd rather wait than pay more than double the MSRP for something.
ОтветитьThe key to rent to own stores. Is to pay it off as quickly as possible. If you buy something like a Nintendo switch from a rent to own store. Try to pay it off in like 3 months. You're going to pay an extra 50 bucks on top of what the switch cost but you didn't have to come up with that money all in one chunk
Ответитьfor the modded OLED the shield was cut to run wires from the chips
ОтветитьI feel bad for that rent to own guy. Great video as always!
ОтветитьHi Tronicsfix I spilled some juice on my switch a long time ago…I was wondering if you could fix it for free 😁
ОтветитьAlways satisfying fixing the un-fixable, at least that what they want t you to think
ОтветитьLove your videos!! I have a pair of Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen2. They only work plugged in. I cant figure out why it will not run off they battery. Would love to send them to you to see if you can fix it. You can make a video about it if you would like.
ОтветитьMy boys have nintendo switch that doesnt power on or charge up. 🤷♂
ОтветитьThe second switch looked like a lost cause 👍🏻
ОтветитьHey man, when you were working on the "modded" switch, I'm very well aware of what the mod is and how it works. The person who attempted to mod this is clearly new to soldering. No flux used(or they used the terrible paste flux), too much heat on the capacitors on the SoC, and they scraped wayy too much solder mask around the via (not the larger rectangular ground pad next to it) to the top right of the cpu (where the shielding was cut). Very surprised they didn't Bridge that via to the ground plane next to it. That is a cpu clock point used by a modchip for timing when to inject a payload.
ОтветитьSometimes a reflow might fix a blod switch, this consoles flex and sometimes a solder ball can became disconected from behind the apu.
Ответитьfixing these devices seems a lot more mentally stimulating than the games they actually play...
ОтветитьI know it's a choice but I always feel bad for folks that utilize the 'Rent to Own' places. It's like they were set up with the purpose of being predatory towards folks with financial challenges.
ОтветитьOh SNAP! Solder burns on failed modders. Tronics bring the heat on these fools.
ОтветитьI have question how can I sent you something to get fix Because I really need my phone to be fixed please ?
ОтветитьImagine being the guy that sold a whole switch for an sd card that just wiggled loose..
ОтветитьI don’t understand why when you could see that one chip was not on correctly. You still left it. And had to go back and change it. 🤦♂️
ОтветитьCould you maybe include a short explanation about the looking for shorts? Because I have no clue what’s going on but it looks interesting
ОтветитьI opened my ps4 to clean to update the thermal paste and now it won't turn on.... i put everything together slowly :( what could possibly be the issue?
ОтветитьYou did a great job with that oled!
ОтветитьWhy don't you use thermal camera ?
ОтветитьThanks tronic Bro of Sonic😅😅 For makings vdo Long n details love ❤️ From India 🇮🇳
ОтветитьEven caps goes bad
ОтветитьSo why do companies still use y wing or torx or security screws when the bits are easy to get?
ОтветитьHello!
ОтветитьWild to see the OLED switch before and after your clean up! Great work!
Ответить700$ for a broken switch?
Ответитьwow i really din't had high hopes for that first oled switch in this vid and however he got it fixed anyway feeling the pure satisfaction with You TronicsFix :D really enjoyed that moment in the vid :)
ОтветитьSend the bad one to the coder and challenge him to fix them
ОтветитьNot bad at all! Glad to hear that you got some of the Switch's fixed! And hopefully you can use some of the parts from other ones if you ever need to repair more Switch's.
Ответитьits hwfly or sx core they were trying too mod?
Ответитьthey were trying to install a modchip in that OLED switch. it involves cutting the metal around the chip.
Ответитьthe editing is so satisfiying!
ОтветитьImagine watching the video and realising the one you sent him just needed the card reader to be plugged in 😂
ОтветитьWatching you do this makes me feel like I can do this but reality snaps me back to knowing I am no where near doing that kind of repair. Can’t even find the reason for the pop shut down for the 3DS I am fixing even when the speakers were replaced and no damage on the ribbon cable 💀. So much to learn to catch up. So far I did the simple Ds lite fixes. Saved 13/16 with 3 motherboards being dead with no way to get them to work. Inspired by you.
Ответитьcasts Recall upon completion of the Switch repairs to return them to myself
Fool, you fell for it so easily and now I've duped you into performing free repairs at no labor cost. Oh wait they're broken again.
Wait he paid 700 dollars for a broken switch that feels awful
ОтветитьSkills and energy are top notch, love the videos.
