this game was being developed whenever i was in middle school, now i’m a 22 year old college student and now yandev has now:

1) admitted to not even having started working on the second rival
2) has been recently exposed for preying on a formerly 9 year old, now 16 year old girl

For those wondering, Yes! There is a Game similar to Yandere Simulator that is already a fully polished and decent, available for the public

I was in the 7th grade when this game started developing. Last year, I graduated college.

Love this video but Sayaka was not a yandere! She was losing hope after realizing she essentially gave up her life for a boy who didn't even like her, so she started to spiral and lose touch with her mentality. She never went crazy to get love and she never killed anyone to get what she wanted. She was still a hero, through-and-through. Homura is probably the closest character to a yandere that Madoka Magica had. If you've seen the follow-up movie Rebellion, you'd know she even reverse-Godoka'd just so she could get her love. That's some yandere shit right there.

I remember when I was super into this game (or "game" I guess-) back in high school. I still kinda like the premise, but I doubt the game's gonna get done before the year 3000

Also something funny and kinda stupid I just remembered: I used to look through the yandere sim fandom wiki every so often and I'd see mods yelling at people in the article comments for swearing, saying that kids could see it... Because a few swear words are the most concerning thing a kid is gonna see on a wiki about a schoolgirl brutally killing her classmates-

I began following the development of this game in 2016, back when I was in middle school. Since then, I have (in the following order):
Coded a private server for a defunct obscure MMO
Finished middle school
Started high school
Written a whole ass book on wattpad
Got my first job
Made my first feature-length movie (and its development only took a year)
Learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ActionScript, and Python
Got a girlfriend
Passed my last two years of high school and graduated despite all the COVID hullabaloo that was happening at the time
Moved out of my parents’ house
Opened my first bank account
Became a beta tester for an indie MMO
Started going to college
Got my current job
Made enough money to pay for two community college semesters despite only working part-time
Began voice acting for an indie cartoon
Lost my virginity
Learned witchcraft
This was ALL during the development of the game, and it still is in development. At this rate, it’ll still be unfinished when we are all long-dead

I remember when I was in this phase. It was fun but I realized it was never gonna meet up to what it was said to. Updates were usually really small, and never too different from each other.

I first heard of this game on THIRD GRADE….. I followed along the development of the game for a while but thought it had been forgotten about, that is until I saw in my feed a Christmas special for 2022, I go to the page and even tho the game related content appears to have stopped like 3 years ago, that’s still like 14 or 15 years and it hasn’t come out???? 14 YEARS??????

Bruh I was still in Middle School when this started, I'm like in my 4th Year of College now taking animation as a course. Entering the game dev part of that made me squirm at his coding practices. It is very, very inefficient. Like some juniors at my uni were able to make a test demo of practically the same game and it runs way better than his.
