I love how the Clone's ATTE just tanks hit after hit after hit. It was built for war, whereas the Imperial AT-AT was built for intimidation.

The clones may be old, but they are not obsolete. This battle proves that. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw more clones fighting with the rebels in the future. That is if they want to. Like Rex said, we all have a choice.

As much as the AT-TE is a good design

The firepower and armor of the AT-AT very nearly put the AT-TE down

And on top of that they even want for the legs to try and trip the main one (you know the thing people say to do to an AT-AT) only for it to keep it's balance over power and stomp the old girl down

If it wasn't for Ezra and Zeb hijacking the second AT-AT Rex wolf and Gregor would have been killed and this clip does show that despite it seemingly being a worse design

If one thinks about it, the AT-TE is to the M4 Sherman tank as the AT-AT is to the Panzer VI Tiger; while the AT-TE/Sherman may not be as powerful, there are a great many of them and under the right crew can provide devastating results, whereas the AT-AT/Tiger is powerful yes, but it is overly complicated and requires serious maintenance, otherwise it breaks down…A LOT. Both AT-AT and Tigers suffered heavy losses in the winter time, both on Hoth and in Russia. While they did have powerful weaponry, their main weapon was fear factor; a nigh invincible weapon of war, bristling with heavy armament and seemingly unstoppable from other weapons. The AT-TE and Shermans however had numbers on their side and were made specifically for combat, no matter the situation or the environment. Both vehicles could also be modified for various roles, giving them a huge advantage in warfare. I have no doubt that there specialized variants of the AT-TE, some with better armour and bigger guns, just like their Sherman counterparts.

THIS is why the Empire never should have gotten rid of the Clones. They were bred for battle, their equipment is better, and they can fight with the best of them and win with inferior equipment and almost no chance.

I know it's a silly thing to nitpick over, especially as this is a cinematic moment, but; Guns are generally as good as same-era armor. Either the AT-TE should've absolutely smashed both AT-ATs while ignoring their fire, or the AT-ATs should've instantly crushed the AT-TE.
