I was in an airborne unit, and we hated both the Army and the Marines. I did a lot of joint assignments with different branches there's wasn't a lot of differences. I saw dirtbag Marines, Soldiers, sailor and Airmen.
In the Army, a lot depends on your unit. Guys in legacy Units have highet standards. The Marines try to keep 1 standard across the branch.
I went to Airborne school with a few Marines. We all hated this single Recon Marine who kept failing his push-ups and kept getting recycled 😂😂😂.
Ive never been in a non ABN unit, so i don't know what its like. The only people we thought were better than us were Rangers, SEALs and group guys.😂😂😂
what makes the grass grow?
ОтветитьThe first story was funny because there’s no isis in Baghdad 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIsis attacked us embassy in iraq?
What a story....
isis never reached cities have embassies
Want to say this. The Army can in fact conduct amphibious operations. D-Day being the largest of said operations. Don't let the media confuse you either, the war in the pacific saw more soldiers than marines. However, this is because the army is vastly larger than the marine corps. Unlike many believe, The entire military force is a fast action force. Any Soldier, Marine, Airman, or sailor is trained to be ready to go at anytime, anywhere. Also, technology speaking, the entire army is not equipped with all the new equipment. Rather only what is specific to the job. Such as, the 1st Cavalry Division is outfitted with the new state of the art vehicles, and armor. Where as the 101st, and 82nd Airborne, and the 75th Ranger Regiment are outfitted with the state of the art small arms. US Soldiers go through screening, and a physical test which qualifies you for your job. Such as, standards for a combat arm are different than a clerk in the recruitment process.
Ответитьarmyis way better.
ОтветитьJust because amphibious warfare is not something the Army specializes in, doesn't mean they are incapcable of doing it. The largest amphibious assault ever was done by...the Army. To this day the Army maintains the profciency of being able to facilitate an amphibious operation on it's own via the Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) who would enable an Army Infantry Division to make an anphibious assualt and sustain them; of course the Navy would help by providing naval artilery and air support, but any amphibious assualt conducted by Marines would also need that same type of support.
ОтветитьThe national guard was the first organized military in the U.S (1636)
ОтветитьNow it makes sense thanks for this🫡🫡🫡
ОтветитьWar is a Scorpio (War and Death); Army is a Gemini (14 June) where as Marine Corps is a Scorpio (10 November); which is the best fit for War 🤔
ОтветитьOne of the differences that I think was left out. When talking about training, Army recruits go to basic and then their AIT, Advanced Individual Training. (job school) The Marines go to basic, then to MCT, Marine Combat Training. It's a condensed version of infantry school that everyone, regardless of job or gender goes to. When the Marines say everyone is a rifleman, they mean it. Also, the Marines instill more history and culture into their recruits. Knowing about what you represent, who came before you, and are becoming is part of the reason Marines are the way they are.
ОтветитьYou got the army size components wrong. The national guard is the bigger reserve component and the reserves are a smaller force.
ОтветитьThe only thing the Marines are number one at is Brainwashing their troops into believing they are number 1. 😂
ОтветитьIt's simple the Army is Infantry every job in the Army that's not Infantry, is there to support the Infantry. The Marines are the Navy's Infantry.
ОтветитьMy brother was an airborne army soldier.
ОтветитьMarine is amphibious, army on Land
ОтветитьSemper Fidelis!! The Few the Proud! OooRaah!
ОтветитьWhat about MARSOC 🤔
ОтветитьWhy does a Iraqi neighborhood have tajmahal and a buddha statue, a Hindu temple and qutub minar in the background on the first slide😂😂😂
ОтветитьMarines are the tip of the spear.
Ответитьhe showing indias monument like temples and churches and tajmahal on background
ОтветитьWhat i was thought as a kid was, marines r first into battles army just cleans up what they leave behind
ОтветитьThe Army’s AIT is where they learn their MOS, on top of advanced military training.
ОтветитьFirst off Rangers and SF also conduct amphibious missions.
Secondly SOCOM is the tip of the spear NOT Marines.
Two quotes from my dad who’s a Marine (former active duty) “A guy in the Army is called a soldier, a guy in the Navy is called a sailor, a guy in the Air Force is called an Airman. But a man in the Marines is always a Marine.” Quote #2 I asked him what it was like in boot camp. “They tore us down to our lowest form possible and built us back up to be nothing more than killers.”
ОтветитьUncle Sam's Misguided Children, as I have heard them called.
ОтветитьFor the uneducated, there are only three branches of services army, navy, air force. The Marine corps is a subsidiary of the Navy that is why it is referred to as the department of the Navy United States Marine Corps. We just happened to be better than every other branch.
ОтветитьUS Marines is the closest thing to a colonial army of the old days :-) It's a specialised expedition force designed to invade territories by sea or air assault. Most countries that do not aspire to be a "global superpower" (called an empire) don't even have anything like US Marines.
ОтветитьAnd remember y'all: the red crayons taste the best.
ОтветитьThe real difference is that the Army is superior in every possible way, except for blind obedience. the Jarheads got us beat there...
ОтветитьAnd the air force looks down on them both (literally)
ОтветитьCrayola
ОтветитьI've seen Lance Corporals (E-3) do more than an E-6 in the army. That's 1 out of many differences.
ОтветитьOne is a Department of the Navy the Other is a Branch of the Military.
ОтветитьMost of the people watching this was in the military or had parents in one of these branches, my father was a Marine. I was in the Army but things didn't work out for me I got my 214's early.
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention that Emma has 2 moms.
ОтветитьMarines take the land the Army Keeps it.....
ОтветитьRahhhh🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьIn reality we don't need the marines. The army has and does it all. They do amphibious training/fighting (D day), have scuba diver schools, and so on so on.
ОтветитьThat was not a good video. It is confusing and does not show much difference between the US Army and USMC.
ОтветитьMarine front line and invadion force
Army occupational force sent in once marines cleared the area and to act as support and reinforcement for the marines and perform reconnaissance for enemy position so even though marines are our main fighting force and army is our occupational force marines do rely on the army to perform key roles just like they rely on the navy now if you want to get down to who the better branch it the marines guys who sign up for marines are the ones who want to see combat and got a death wish you just dodnt mess with a marine army tries to act like their better but if they were they would be on the front line instead of the marines
There is no such thing as a former Marine. Once a Marine, always a Marine Semper Fi.
ОтветитьComing from a heavy veteran family, there was a saying: "The marines blow it up, the army cleans it up".
ОтветитьARMY stands for Are not Ready for Marines Yet.
ОтветитьAlso don't refer to Marines as soldier lol. Come on, thats an easy one
ОтветитьThe Marines are the smallest and poorest of all branches but they make the best of what they're given. When I was going through USMC boot camp one of my drill instructors said "The Marine Corps is ghetto fabulous".
