What is lining the plastic box?
ОтветитьYet again another video that should retitle. adding the word using a mobile phone.!!!
ОтветитьSearched so many videos to do this quickly, easily, and this is one of the best. Going to try this now, for a cousin's wedding anniversary - 50 year old slides. Thank you. Simple.
ОтветитьI'm going to have to try this out too so far I've seen two different styles of people doing this and you guys too are the most handy dandy ones to try
ОтветитьLove your innovation!
ОтветитьThanks for posting, great idea!
ОтветитьVery MacGyver! I like that last method for the reason you stated, that it holds it nice and steady.
ОтветитьChris, thanks for sharing this fantastic method so perfectly.
ОтветитьBrilliant!!! Thank you so much!! I just found a box of old (40+ years) slides, and I can't wait to convert them using your super-smart method. Again, thank you!!
ОтветитьOMGawd how happy am I to have found this. As an artist with loads of slides and a slide projector that stopped working, this is a life saver. I do have a question about pixel quality. Should I use a setting on my phone so the image comes out more refined? The images are coming out terrible. loss of detail/
ОтветитьGreat idea. Only downside is that we all know now your phone unlocking code.
ОтветитьI found a load of slides from my brother when he was working abroad in the 60s, who has sadly now passed on. I needed a simple way to view them and this is a great way to do this. Thank you so much.
Ответитьpixelles!
ОтветитьExcellent
ОтветитьWhat great ideas!! Many, many thanks! I have so many of these and cannot wait to get started with „your system“. ✌️&❤️, Happy New year to you!!
Ответитьso easy with spectaculous results / thank you
ОтветитьIt worked! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьGreat video..
ОтветитьSaves me from going insane trying to understand instructions for slide copier machines. Many, many thanks.
Ответить¡muchísimas gracias Mr.BoomerTECH!😘
ОтветитьThank you for the tip!
ОтветитьIncredible . Thank you.
ОтветитьVery informative, thanks so much.
ОтветитьThanks for a great Demo and showing me how to do Professional Slides to pics on my phone. Awesome!!
ОтветитьThis is incredible - thank you so much! This'll make a lot of old friends and family very happy! Much appreciation to you.
ОтветитьGreat! Effective and very affordable. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьDid you mention how large the hole was that you made in the plastic light box?
ОтветитьThank you! What a cool idea and so easy. I will have to try this on my 65 year old slides (of me!) and see what I can get
ОтветитьGreat video and I am good to go! Thanks so much!
ОтветитьExcelente way of doing it. Thanks a lot. I had tried with a light bulb underneath but the light is not uniform. Thanks a lot again.
ОтветитьI just tried it and I am so pleased with the results. I used my kindle for light, and a 5 by10 inch transparent box from boxed lettuce to steady my iPhone on and i was able to zoom in on my slides and get very good results. Thanks so much for the idea.
ОтветитьThis sounds wonderful...I will try it soon. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThank you for this resourceful and very helpful tutorial. Bravo, Sir!
ОтветитьThis is GENIUS!!!
ОтветитьThis is great, I had no idea you could do this. I have many slides my mother took of us when very young Thanks so much as it is not cheap to convert slides but this is so easy and incredible results 👌
ОтветитьHello! I was wondering if you had any good ideas on working with a 4x6 size negative from the 1930's. It's unbelievable that the negatives are 4x6.
ОтветитьThe method worked very well Chris . Thanks again.
Ответить..this is great!! Was wondering whether I would ever get round to the C-41 process work I have - now you have shown me a solution..thanks!! Do you have a similar method to 'project' 35mm negatives??!
Ответитьbrilliant, thanks mate.
ОтветитьThank you Chris for showing us how to digitize slides .I can't wait to try this method. It looks easy.
ОтветитьLike it. Very simple procedure. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьReally creative solution. I'll take it a step further by using a digital camera to shoot as it has a higher resolution and better optics to produce a better shot. Thx for sharing.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video! My Vu Point digital slide converter suddenly stopped working and after contacting the company, found out that they had no suggestions on how to fix my device which had been discontinued. Luckily I found this genius video! I didn't have a biscuit cutter but I had a wide bangle bracelet that held the slide perfectly. A toilet paper roll wasn't wide enough but I found a cardboard roll that held curling ribbon. I just removed the top and bottom from it. The hardest part was keeping the backlit screen on in a steady manner as any pressure on the iPad screen would make it go haywire. So glad I was able to finish up the last hundred slides of my project. The end result was just as good or better than what the converter device did. Thank you BoomerTech!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI always wondered why there weren't many baby/small child photos of me around the house...then realized they were on my dad's old slides! Thanks for this easy tutorial, I look forward to trying it out and seeing mini-me, and my parents.
ОтветитьSo clear, can’t wait to have a go, you made it interesting and fun, thank you.
ОтветитьPixelles?
ОтветитьAwesome! Thanks for sharing these simple ideas. I have only one slide but really want to see it as it is one from my childhood. I downloaded a few useless apps then found your tutorial. 🤗😊
ОтветитьLow tech but very effective.
