Make Your Android Head Unit BOOT UP Faster!

Quick boot up enables your Android head unit start up faster than usual. Use this feature if you don't want to wait or if you want to use your head unit right away. But make sure you make a cold boot once a week to completely resets the hardware and clears the system off the temporary memory.

Connected my android unit to the wire that indicades the lighting when opening door/using remote control. It just gives the acc signal, not the actual power.

That way it starts the radio when opening the car by remote or door and usually is done when i start the car. I hated to wait 30-40 secs before my reverse camera was working or navigation was starting

This has nothing to do with boot time considering the unit stays booted up already when you select any sleep option. Another thing about this technique is that it causes a parasitic drain on your battery.

Hello my friend, I had bought a screen online from a Chinese store and unfortunately it does not have this feature and it takes a long time to boot the Android system each time and I have to wait a long time to go back until the camera works :( Is there a way to add this option to the screen?

its a great feature, but only issue is whenever I turn on the car after couple of hours it takes me to recent apps window and I have to manually press home button to go ti home, because sleep switch kills the running apps it gets startup on recent app window. didn't found a fix yet. any suggestions?

My settings are set to no sleep to avoid any battery drainage. However, since I have installed android unit in Mercedes ML350 2010. My battery drains if I don’t drive the car for a day. Is it possible can bus connected acc wire in the factory harness is doing it? Or maybe I connected to incorrect wire because acc should only be live when the ignition is on. Does anyone know which wire is acc on factory harness?

My Eonon Q50 Pro used to do that, but even with the sleep setting set, it is rebooting everytime.

The main thing that this option is doing is having your unit turned on in the background even if your engine is not on.

What does this mean?

The unit is consuming power. I had this turned on on e but I noticed quickly that my amplifier is also turned on even when the engine is off.

Do not use this feature, it would drain your battery and would only cause you trouble along the way.

Check your current draw in sleep mode
I use the 3 days option without problem with my basic chinese Android head unit, but I would recommand you first check the current draw in sleep mode. Mine draws 0.4A which is acceptable for any small battery in good condition.
If you have a current clamp multimeter (or a friend who has one!) just put the clamp around the positive wire on the battery. It will report the global draw when the car is parked (but will include car alarm draw if you have one)

Theres no boot up at all since the head unit did not shutdown.

But will my battery be able to run it for whole day?

It's not a fast boot.. The Android unit will never shut down for the period you selected. It will turn off your screen, keep running in the background and drain your battery the entire time. Don't do it!

Good evening! I needed to reset the navigation because it did not recognize my 4G sim card. I didn't know how long I had to press the reset button! I held the reset button for about 40 seconds (the 5 touch buttons flashed about 3 times) and now the navigation does not open at all. The 5 touch buttons light up, but I have no image. I don't know how to restart it, the reset button DOESN'T WORK. I look forward to a reply. Thanks a lot!

Assuming headunit drawn max of 50mA while sleeping. Normal smallest battery is 40 000 mAH or 40AH that means it will self discharge to around 10.5 in 1 hour if running current is 40A. For 50mA it will need 800hours to discharge. That mean you cannot start the car if you left it uncharged for 1 month which is unlikely.
