So my first big mistake was, just a few moments ago, I went to find a download of this wad for myself, just because I wanted to check out this creepypasta game before this video spoiled it for me. My second big mistake was thinking that the "dead dogs and various penis" mentioned in the creepypasta couldn't possibly be in the wad itself. I've been on the internet long enough to not have it bother me to much, I have seen worse, but I'd be lying if I said it didn't unsettle me quite a bit.

I get making your own story with Doom or whatever but using real gore is just a cheap way to get a reaction. Create your own story or scares that are actually interesting and don't just ape off of other peoples suffering.

i've seen soo many weird shit a long the doom community, but i recall a post that was really interesting about a dude, who played a wad that had real satanic symbols inscripted on the textures, but not only that, along the map musics there were real chants summoning demons, after that he could hear people whispering, lights will flicker, and even his dog died, or dissapeared, i dont recall well because it was yeaaars ago but it was very interesting! and the thing is you could totally do a wad and add all the things from the post... like heretic 2 using real symbols from the satan bible

This right here is exactly why I got sick of doom fans back in the day, and they haven't changed... infact the volume got turned up to 11. For every 1 damn good mod, there are quite literally 100 edgy, angsty, "Everyone must diiiiiiie reeeeeeeee!" moodyness and 1000 players willing to download it. I understand working out your aggression / darkness into something but atleast try to actually make something GOOD.
