ik this vid is like 3 years old but the horde beacon only counts players around it BEFORE it gets placed down. the closest players are too the beacon, it then totals and adds up all players around right before it got placed down. so they probably placed it down when they're was a lot of players in town

you need 18 people with end game gear at least to defeat those kinds of boss. But the reward is huuge tho. It's like 70 people did it, but you are 18-20 in group.
Also for that huuge group, you will need to choose a leader and some others stuff, like officers, so everyone knows it's place. Private is just a private. Major is major.
1 leader 1 major 3 officers 13-15 private's. You can also give half of private's another rank, so they could go for gear. First person looking into gear would be leader, then major, officers 1st league privates. 2nd league privates are meat shield, but after 3-4 horde they will also get gears. Also somebody could run a tank. This might be fun. i think about activating that type of server :). Middle of washington here i come ;).
