This song hits my soul hard like a ton of bricks. It spoke to me and told my pain and thoughts to the world. Im in a dark place and i want to fly want to soar into the light bit i cant because i only got one wing. Have you ever felt that feeling? Pain and darkness is different for everybody. I got laidoff unexpectedly. Then they fixed it where me and others couldnt draw unemployment. Was recieving assistance when i was homeless and jobless before and now they tell me i cant recieve any more assistance for over a year. Im in recovery but Lord im in a dark place. I'm fighting not to go back to that. There's one thing i know you can get free dr**s before you can get food etc. This song was a cry to the Heavens above for help because im trying to fly with one wing. Im trying to be strong. I pray. I have applied to so many jobs. Been to so many interviews. This most recent one claimed they would hire me when they can put me on the schedule.( my schedule is any hours any shift no certain position) they claimed they were hiring. Lord i cant do this.
