Hello, Every time I make homemade pillowcases, I return to your tutorial for refresher! Thank you so much. Is one sew down the edges all that is needed or two seams? Thank you again.

Why not sew the opening end cuff seam right after you iron the fold? Much easier for beginners to sew a flat seam than a rightside out pinned circle. The final result is the same from what I can see.

Do you wash the material first? I’ve seen people recommend doing that, but I’m not sure.

Couldn’t you do the hem first?

I've given this a go today... I couldn't work out which way my 'directional' fabric pattern should go, so I thought I would hop on here and just post a comment in case it helps someone else in the future. I cut the 44" length in the 'portrait' position (running along the side of the selvage edge....not 'landscape', longest side going upwards - away from you. It worked for my pattern, I hope it will help others who may be unsure. I'm also going to attach some KAM snaps to close the ends up, just so they pillowcase stays nice and tight, otherwise it'd come off. Great pattern though, thank you! x

Tempted to give this a go, thanks. It's nice to actually find a pattern that's nice and simple - rather than some of the others out there, where I just watch the video and then say 'NOPE'.... 😂. I'm an intermediate sewist but I want something quick and easy, I don't want something too complicated for a fast project..x

Once again. There is no where to tuck the pillow into. Yum.

Turn the pillow case inside out then put it over the pillow & pull down over the pillow! It’s super easy & no struggle!

Thank you for a simple pillowcase that isn’t a burrito type. Which are pretty simple, but this is simpler! Which I love! I also have a really cute fleece that has been just sitting around waiting for a project👍
