Burning Crusade Classic Fresh 70 Guide

Man i think i enjoyed playing classic and tbc better than wrath classic at least atm. Ulduar imo sucks and i am not playing alts and very much heavy raid logging lol

Tnx mate, this was a good general guide. Alchemy is by far the best money making profession because all the high level raids require elixirs and you can SELL them as opposed to other weapons and gear that actually require the maxed profession to use and are BOP so you CANT sell them. I think this is where Blizz screwed up because it made some professions more lucrative than others, specifically Alchemy and Jewel Crafting which sold items that didnt require (mostly) the maxed profession.
They should have made all items tradable from any profession so that you could make a decent living no matter what prof you picked instead of just picking one that gives you x or y end game item and is not much more useful after that...
But i guess they had to introduce a lot of farming mechanics in the game to keep people hooked until the next expansion, and boy did they do that well in TBC.
I for one, smelled this tactic early on and, as a person who really does not enjoy farming in games, i picked 2 gathering professions, sold everything i gathered from questing on the AH and made a ton of gold that way, then i just bought the gear i wanted, got some nice weapons from the arena system and the rest from rep gear and dungs/raids.
Since Karazan was my fav raid i did that many times and geared up quite nicely, so i didnt feel like i needed to grind a prof to 350 to get one or two items out of it. But hey, that was my choice and i had fun doing it. Also it was fun logging in, going to your mail box and finding 50-100 gold from sales waiting for you there. :D

Man blizzard really dropped the ball with TBC. Level boost and then also rushed the shit out of it, giving us wrath just one year later.

At level 70 just delete all your characters and start over lol

Loved TBC when it came out way back when. Some of my best times in WoW came in those years. Was thinking about resubbing to WoW just to dive back into TBC but with the cash shop it's apparent that Blizz does not care about anything other than grabbing all the cash they can from customers. Even if that means degrading the quality of their product and customers subsequent enjoyment. The Blizz that everyone elevated to Rockstar status is no more and I'm not giving them any more of my money. It makes me sad that this slide into mediocrity was inevitable once Activision bought them out. I'm just surprised it took so long for the full effects to be felt.
People talk about 'fixing' WoW but it's just not going to happen. They just make too much money off game distorting systems to every put that genie back in the bottle. It's just so sad to see something that was so cool be destroyed and the people running the show now really don't have any idea what they are destroying. To them it's just money.

ehhh nah bring back fresh classic servers, all these things attunements and reps and yatta yatta BS, just sound like homework.

I think the first thing you should do is uninstall

TBC: Raids are locked behind long chain quests (attunement)
Shadowlands: every part of the game is locked behind chain quests

Back when I was playing WoW I was never really a PvP Fan, I would always get owned by anybody and everyone,so I just found it annoying. (Gnome - Mage). The best PvP BG experience for me was Alterac Valley as there were things you could do for hours that did not involve PvP, hell you could even sit in that Battleground fishing with your fellow players. (Horde and Alliance would even fish standing next to each other in AV).

I think the worst Battleground though that I have played in WoW is definitely The Eye Of The Storm. I find it to be the most annoying battleground, there was nothing fun about it. Certain classes could literally just blow a group of players off the edges near a flag capture point. (As they were small islands, basically). Then they could easily cap it, it was so annoying!

The Burning Crusade was a real pain in the ass back in the day, when I simply couldn't find the right people in order to complete the reputation required for the numerous factions for the heroic dungeons. I remember it all too well when I was struggling for months, venturing through Outland without a guild, until the day I met some AWESOME PEOPLE who took me in and allowed me to express myself freely and they were continuasly (correct spelling?) asking for my oppinion when it comes to strategies on how to avoid unnecessary damage etc.

Anyway, I spent some time with these people (about 8 - 10 Weeks) "touring" the heroic dungeons, honing my sklills and adapting to the requirements of all the dungeons. Then all of a sudden, after defeating Kargath Bladefist on heroic, they decided to invite me into their guild and my life changed for the better. Turned out that these people were all either my age or older and they told me that the purpose of that guild was to be made out of people who NEVER let their humanity in the bedroom... so to speak.

My first raid in Karazhan turned out to be one of the most pleasant experiences I ever had at the time. The Raid Leader took his time to explain to me the ins and outs of the respective Boss we were facing. I followed his instructions and we all made it through without casualties. Then they helped me with the attunements in order to enter SSC and Tempest Keep, Battle of Moung Hyjal and Black Temple. Slowly but surely we cleared one raid after another and there was no Drama because of Loot etc. As for me, I would remain in the guild until the day it disbanded, due to the fact that many people simply didn't have the time anymore. Some of them got married, while some others decided it was enough and decided to move on.

Nah, TBC is just a long pre-patch for WotLK for me. Preparing professions, leveling up my chars etc. :)

Flying makes you less gankable.... Yeah i play on Skeram, and seeing an Ally is like seeing a fucking unicorn , i dont think i need to worry about getting ganked.

Just a note about epic flying mounts. They arent as important in tbc as classic. As long as you have a flying mount the speed only matters if you have a gaterring proffs, and even then it might not be worth buying if your server is overcrowded and lots of competition for nodes when you play. Also the flying mount more or less kills worrld pvp becausee there is no fighting on mounts. Theres also no flying in bgs
