I like this amp but it needs an input so a backing track can be played through it.

I've got a Vox Lion heart mini, or something like this, and looks better than this new vox. This overdrive looks like a bad fuzz

Can you plug it to a cab like a 2x10??

by far the best sounding amp out of all the small amps, it's my favorite it's why i still have it.
the best thing about this amp, is that it will take pedals without too much of an issue.
the other small amps Fender Frontman 10G and the Orange Crush 12 can sound a little over distorted at times, but the Pathfinder works with pedals pretty well.
i have an electro harmonix pedal which is an overdrive, and i have one reverb pedal which also has a delay feature. they both work surprisingly well.

distorted sounds like mud with the gain up. Overdrive sounds like crap as well.

what settings did you use for the clean tone?

Hello, As far as I've seen, this amplifier is mentioned a lot, it's not expensive.
I'm interested in someone who understands vox to tell me, would you rather recommend this vox for $ 50 or for $ 100-120 Vox Valvetronix AD15VT
It's not a small difference in price, but I'm interested in the opinion.

Ehh, sounds horrible. Like an old busted speaker. There's not much bass or even treble, just fuzzy noise.

Good amp, love the clean tones. Personally, I just don't like amps with all the controls on top. For me, the Fender Champion 20 wins out on all fronts.

Clean was Best, then third, then second. Clean is best, because of nearest tho VOX 30 Tube.

I like this amp, just find it super quiet when clean compared with when the overdrive button is pressed

Is this a BLACKSTAR with a VOX case?

If you have this amp and another 8ohm cab, spend a few bucks on a Switchcraft 12a output jack with shunt and add it to the amp. I modded mine with the jack - it bypasses the internal speaker and this amp pushing my 112 cab sounds SO BIG. Yes, it defeats the purpose of having an inexpensive, compact amp, BUT, if you have a cab, why not have options?

What d'you think about removin' the capacitor to get better clean tones??....it really improves the sound, more like an ac30 vibe, it works, but...What'sm the pro (sound, of course) and the con if there is one???

I just got my self a Korg RK100S 2 Keytar and am wanting a Vox amp for it would this be suitable for that? it sounds nice and the price is good so am hoping it would be.

Nice little amp

This really is a great amp! I tried this, the fender frontman 10 and the Orange crush. I didn't like the Orange and found the VOX and Fender to be pretty much the same. I went with the Fender due to the cheaper price.

🙃 Jeeze Louise! video = 15 seconds of actual content, 10 minutes of "hey people, what do you think", "click here", "Join my Cult", "Drink my cool-aid", "please like me" "ohhh I enjoyed that caaarppy tone some much, what did you think?" "don't you think I'm likeable???" I just love that this guy mentioned his extensive creds up front but proved he doesn't know how to get one good tone out of that amp. Cranking the bass on clean was just making the speaker fart out. Cranking the gain just made a bag of fizzzzzzzzzz. I know, a $100 amp isn't gonna sound boutique. But even a dinky Boss Katana mini that sounds better than that thing.
