This is your best album yet Ed, and i mean that sincerely. You being not much older than me, i really resonated with your first few works (loose change and +). You really highlighted the feeling of what its like to be simply young and discovering love. Now were older, wiser, and perhaps more lost than ever. And i know you probably think it too. Time goes so fast and yet so slow at the same time.. our youth escapes us, and all we want is to feel a glimpse of what we had. And with great loss, that glimpse gets even more scarce, until we can hardly find the person we used to be. We try to not to change, but the world changes for us. We never expect to lose anyone, but when we do, all we can think of is how devastated our family and friends will be when it's our time to go. We just want to keep it all together, not for ourselves but for our loved ones. Thank you Ed, youre a true inspiration. As modest as you are i know you probably dont like dealing with fans 24/7 but if one day we met id give you a huge hug , not because youre famous, and not because of views or money. But because you put your heart on the line for us. When were all going through a tough time you give us your heart in these songs and everyone of us can feel this and know that were not alone with our loss and even the most brilliant people in the world or the most reknowned are still human and still feel what were feeling everyday. I see you in your star light and i wonder if youve ever thought what it would be like if all this never happened for you. Youd probably say it would happen anyway because you worked so hard for it. But i guess all im trying to say is, i can see how family oriented you are, and how much you enjoy the little things in life. And i feel bad that you have to deal with so much alll the time, youve given us such great music. I wish you could just take a break for a while and really be where you need to be with your friends and family. All i want to say is thanks. Thanks for being you, thanks for never giving up, thanks for continuing even when youre not sure if its gonna be worth it. Life without you would be incomplete, music or no music, you are an incredible human being.
