How I get the Dreamy Pastel Film Look Digitally
I fell in love with analog/film photography and spent an entire year taking photos almost exclusively on film. But the inconsistent results I was getting and the price increases by Kodak and Fujifilm made me look for alternatives. That is why I spent the past months finding out how I can replicate the Film Look with digital cameras like the Fujifilm X-T30, Fujifilm X-Pro 1, Fujifilm GFX 50R, Sony A7RII, Sony A7IV, Nikon D2X. I have used all of these cameras to create images that have a nostalgic analog quality to them and today I am sharing my whole process and research on how you can do it too. One way is to use Fujifilm Film Simulations like the Portra 400 recipe by FujiXWeekly and another is the use of Lightroom Presets which I will both cover in this video, and even show you how you can edit your images to achieve this look yourself.

I am blown away by the response to this video. I worked extremely hard on the presets, the shop, the fake film box I made in Blender (for no reason other than I wanted everything to be perfect) and, of course, making this video. I have an exam tomorrow and hustled like crazy the past week to finalize everything and also study for the exam, with 12h+ sitting at my desk every day. It makes me so incredibly happy that the effort seems to be paying off. Thank you everybody ❤ Also I just realized, after 3 days, that PayPal checkout hasn't been enabled the whole time since launch... Film is more than or almost double what it was 2 years ago depending on the film, its fucking impressive, everything in general became more expensive but film literally went more than double, and I do consider film here in Greece relatively cheap compared to the rest of EU.

Ummm, yeah! There will never be a replacement for film. So here is simple ideal…get a damn film camera and learn to shoot with it. Yes, it will cost you money, but you will get real photos and it still takes a whole heck of a lot of film to equal the price of a good digital camera. But if you insist on using a digital camera, you can get a cheap older Fujifilm camera with film simulations built in. This, that you are doing is a waste of time. Seriously, it is time you could be shooting.

I would love to buy these presets but they are not available in pounds stirling - i think it would be a great idea to try and put the product into more different currencies!
