I love how The Batman is walking around openly on the streets of Gotham like a local brawler. And also how the twins aren't really scared of him. Shows his initial days.

The fights in this film were perfect. Young Batman that can fight like hell but doesn’t have all the moves perfected yet. Still more like a bulldog running headfirst into a fight and just taking hits while throwing them out.

Dude.. you just had to see this scene in IMAX.. peak cinema.. till this day, I still think about that opening night experience. Wild..

The camera angle at which Batman fiercely walks in & the flickering red lights all over the lounge while he’s brawling with multiple goons makes it even better.. Absolutely crazy seeing that on the big screen. I must say.. out of all the portrayals on this character, Pattinson definitely has the best fight choreography by far.. every hit/punch he connects with in this film just feels so comic accurate, so much out of his own personal rage and I actually think that’s great character study from Bruce overcoming so much trauma in the past from his parents dying, Gotham’s steady corruption, the pressure of being Batman, etc.

Not to mention, Colin Farrell’s penguin entrance/brief interaction with Batman was GOLD!! True mobster moment right there. I love it.

He still doesn't look like a proper batman casting choice to me, he should've been night wing, robin (any version), or redhood (any version except the "joker" version of redhood).

I really like how they portray batman in a much more amateur approach. Experienced batman wouldn’t have just walked in like this

I love how realistic the sounds are. None of those weird punchy sounds they have in action movies. Just sounds like straight knuckles and jaws

They made batman's movement look less sharp and sluggish. Realistic interpretation does not mean you make him look like a rookie everyday guy just brawling. Matt Reeve's completely missed batman fighting like a methodical expert with cleverness

I'm guessing after I watched this scene in the movie,this is an beginner Batman.

Although I imagine Batman in future will go by an more stealthy approach, to be honest it's safer, less collateral and an more methodical approach. Also gives the target less time to prepare or get away.

I feel a Batman that can appear anywhere without a trace is much more scary and brings more of fear factor. To know he can find you anywhere without a trace especially in dark would scared the sht out of anyone.

I'll never understand how someone can take a full on sniper shot to the back and not sustain any type of back injury. This is why I'm against Batman having any type of bullet proof armor. As writers can just use it as literal plot armor. Also, Batman now has no reason to be stealthy in his approach, might as well be Iron Man. I'm sorry, but Batman should never ever have bullet proof armor, because he can just be as invincible as the plot needs him to be and has no reason to be stealthy.

The movie sucked, and I don't really enjoy the fight scene. However, I do really like the continuous shot of him walking into the club, while music is playing in the distance

As a kid growing up in the 90s & 2000s, I would often hear Zoe's dad's song Fly Away on the radio and TV, and never thought about race. I only ever saw people as people, and listened to good music no matter who it was by.

Then everything changed when the Woke Nation attacked. Their assault on white people, and their desire to denigrate and destroy us by every means necessary got me hella shook, and seeking answers to why they want to erase white people from existence. I'm yet to find any, but this film The Batman is yet another clue.

It is attacks like the above mentioned line that makes us increasingly more racially aware and alert.

The entire film is for the trash purely for that line alone

Colin Farrell as the Penguin is AMAZING! JUST AMAZING. He nails eveything that makes the Penguin a great villain and comes off as legitimately threatening. He isnt a joke.

Look I get penguins a bad guy but if he was real and invited me to DJ at this club I’d do it in a heartbeat

Someone, without being a dick, explain to me why they thought this movie was good. I’ve heard ppl praise it & I jus can’t figure out why. I didn’t dislike it, but it wasn’t good to me. Tried it twice & fell asleep both times because of how boring & slow it is. Don’t want to bash it because ppl do like it, but why?
