The Glass House if it was about idealized hippie Narcissism instead of alcohol. I love the movie, not how the father handles everything. We've all watched Alaskan Bush People and extremism never really comes across that hot no matter how you dice it.

I didn't grow up like that dude who has social anxiety, but I'm much worse off than even he is, in terms of incelibacy, and mental illness, social phobia/anxiety, the lack of wherewithal to actually deal with real life, etc..

I don't really get the point of his character/that character's role, at all, considering how I've been raised totally "normally", but aside from the high IQ, and intellect, there's no difference between my sotuation and that guy's.

It just seems so fictitious and made up, and completely irrelevant, and removed from reality.

I don't get it.

To use his character in order to make the point that the way he was raised in the wilderness is wrong, just makes zero sense, all things considered.

Probably the reason why this movie fails so catasrophically in this sense, (failing to create realistic scenarios, and juxtapositions, etc.), is probably bc reality is much different from the way the creators imagined their movie/story.

Probably, it's more realistic that these children, if raised in the wilderness, would have been completely uncivilized, and extremely under-educated.

In an attempt to talk about the shortcomings of regular society, the movie/creators inadverdently ended up glorifying normal society by creating impressions/objects that simply don't even exist.

And indeed, this story makes very little sense, considering how leftism isn't really possible, unless one actually critically thinks about the pitfalls of normal society, and then contrasts them with solutions, or alternative methods/issues.

Loved this movie to bits :)

Really wild movie, honestly unlike anything I've ever seen before! Definitely give it a watch, it's one of those movies that feels captivating, unpredictable, and really widens your perspective.

I cant believe i watched it after 6 years of release i will tell you whoever is reading it dont waste your time on comments or trailer just go for it this is one of best movies i have ever watched perfect acting story direction. Its going to stay in my mind for days i am sure about that.

This should be a requirement for all schools to show. And V for Vendetta as well.

After seeing a movie recommendation of this from Tiktok, I watched it right away. This movie is very well executed, it's thought provoking, I teach Ethics in college and the concept of this movie shows a lot of angles of different perspectives. Beautifully done. Good job, the actors, the writer and all those that created this are all excellent! Highly recommended.

I was just waiting for the dad to realise that his hostility to the state, individualism and absolute contempt for all of mankind outside of his immediate family made him the very opposite of a socialist. Ben should have abolished Noam Chomsky Day and replaced it with Ayn Rand Day because his attitude to mankind contains nothing of Chomsky's humanity, just hate.

Just stumbled upon this last night on Hulu... one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The acting was amazing! Although it is close to two hours long I was sad when it ended.

I watched it and all I can say is, Christians Please Stay very Far AWAY from this show...
People have no respect for GOD/Jesus anymore.
I pray that people turn to Jesus holy ways before it's to late....

This was a great movie! Can't believe I didn't hear about it till now.

this is hands down one of my now all time favorite movies. after watching it, i HAD to own it. Its well written, brilliantly cast and acted. just phenomenal on every level.
