Did you run the 1050 without a PSU??
Any recommendations on newer PSU's for this type of PC? or has the VS 450 worked well?
I really want to attempt to upgrade mine. It's an old 1745 essentio similar to this one. I know people just say to buy new, but I want to try my hand at pc building and would like to play newer games on it (assuming it worked).

Edit: I currently have an A8-5500 in mine. Will that need to be upgraded as well? or will it perform in league with the i7 in the one you built? If it needs to be upgraded, what do you recommend? Thank you.
