The GTAV VR Mod is amazing. Played around 10h with minor issues (2 hard crashes in free roam) but it is an amazing experience. Highly recommend trying this one out

Thanks for doing this video, great idea. Learned about a couple of new things. Something else that can be fun to tinker with are emulators that support VR. (Dolphin VR and Cemu, that I know of). Playing Mario Kart Wii in VR seems like it shouldn't be possible.. and it's actually super neat. I haven't tried Zelda Breath of the Wild in VR with cemu yet, but it looks fun. Yooka-Laylee is another one with a 3rd party VR mod. I didn't get that to work perfectly yet, but it seems neat.

Isn't there a HL2 VR mod as well?

GTA v mod currently needs oculus and won't revive due to alternating eye rendering. But the other GTA VR mod from Cray fish soon will no longer need vorpx to run and will use open vr

Wait so if I own the bfg edition of doom 3 on steam, can I play the VR versions of 1,2 and 3?

I have never played any of the Half-Life games but I intend to play the first 2 before Alyx launches and my Rift S ships in next week. Having played them flat and in VR, do you recommend for a first time player to play them in VR or should I play flat for my first run through? Are there any limitations as to why I should avoid my first play-through in VR?

I can't get Doom 1 and 2 to work. When I try to launch the .bat it comes up for one nano second and nothing happen.

Quake 1 got a new VR mod, where you got free Hands. This is really good.

The forest vr is amazing.

I was sort of disappointed by the selection of AAA VR games until i played payday 2. It proved to me that the best vr games are just games with added head-tracking and hand controls

Arma 3 can be pretty amazing if you can get used to the controls+head tracking (as well as tanking the fps lol), works really well with flying though

When vr came out I dismissed it as being a gimmick and that you couldn't have a true gaming experience bc it seemed to limiting, but now I fully believe that it's the apex of gaming and will become a common if not the main way to play games

he should have recommended vivecraft it is an amazing minecraft java mod it works with oculus s headsets and valve index and vive headsets (it is better than the minecraft on the oculus store too because you can use the 2 controllers instead of just an ordinary controller) it also supporta room scale walking teleporting and smooth locomotion

I got Alien Isolation on the epic store for free recently. I'm new to all of this, so how do I get the mod and play it on my quest 2 (I do have an Oculus Link Cable)? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

I bought Alien. Love how they created the atmosphere for this game, but I still haven’t finished it. The fucker scares the shit out of me. I’ll definitely pass that one on VR. 😅 I’m positive this one will make someone shit their pants for real.

Do modded VR games look just as 3D and good like legit vR games? Or do they come out more flattened out or something? Don’t have a pc so I’ve never been able to try. But I have tried VR before and have always wondered that.

Been on steam for years and have all these games already, so happy to see that doom and half life function well!
