Fact of the matter is they will never fully admit how toxic these things are. Imagine in the UK with 10 million+ adults with these toxic fillings in their mouths demanding they be removed via the NHS. It’s never going to happen.

Id rather have silver fillings, they last forever. The tooth comored ones sometimes dont even last 5 years. Just another money making scheme.

Amalgam is Banned in Sweden, Norway and Germany. Wonder why?🤔 oh right, the Mercury.🤗 That’s why so many people have mental fog, immune problems and such. The composite (aesthetic) fillings are no better. They leak BPA/estrogen into our blood. Porcelain is Best but by no means cheap. There are MANY people in their 30’s replacing their fillings realizing how much the Amalgam did affect their mental and physical health. Remember, this world is set up to make us Lifetime patients and we’re nothing but a paycheck to many “Drs”. Eyes wide open you guys. 👀 There’s a reason why our alarm bells (intuition) go off. Except amalgam fillings have the oligodynamic property and it takes a long time to redecay. While white fillings will redecay rapidly and youll be doing a new white filling soon eventually leading to root canals and crowns. White fillings are a dentists best friend!

When I was younger, a dentist gave me a silver filling without asking me or my dad whose insurance I was on. I had other fillings in my mouth and none were silver. I didn’t realize until I went home and showed my parents 😢

Amalgam is still being taught here in egypt. We still make it in our clinical year due to its cheaper price than the adhesive ones.

Didn't the cavity too large and not suitable for amalgam fillings? It weaken the tooth structure and the tooth will easily fracture when subjected to masticatory forces.

Besides, the amalgam fillings will only retain inside the tooth macromechanically instead of bonding chemically. However, it can actually last up to 20 years only if it's done with correct procedures following every detailed principles. The cavity preparation seems like it's not fulfilling the cavity requirements for amalgam restoration making it easily dislodged.

Everyone talking about how fillings break now days don’t truly understand how strong a filling is untill you have a tooth basically dissolve away over time but your filling don’t. That’s a super weird situation when that happens. That’s when I realized how strong the stuff they use is. And there are lots of mistakes that can be made during the process to shorten the life span of a filling. I mean miss drilling out a piece of plaque or something, or it dosent cure long enough I mean literally tons of stuff can go wrong it’s not just the material is crap cause it’s not when it’s done right
