Easy Way To Learn The 9 Times Multiplication Table-Math Trick

Let’s say it’s 9 x 6
(We have to get the number being multiplied to the next ‘10’)
So 6 + 4 = 10
(We then have to ignore that ‘0’ in ‘10’ and treat the number like it is ‘1’)
So 6 + 4 = 1
(We then take ‘=1’ away from the number we are multiplying by 9)
So 6 - 1 = 5
(The ‘5’ is the very start of the answer and the number you added to get to the next ‘10’ is the end of the number)
So ‘4’
Answer: 54

Example: 9 x 24
(24 + 6 = 30)
(24 - 3 = 21)
(21 ; 6 = 216)
Answer : 9 x 24 = 216

There’s actually a trick to go way pass 10. Problem is when you are doing a test and don’t have the time to make the chart.

I taught myself this all by myself.

9x53 take the first digit which is 5 then add 1, 6
6-53=47
4+7=11
But eleven is more than 9 so we gotta add up to 18
So 18-11=7

So put that seven here ↑

btw u can do any 9 through 10 multiplication like this

9x5 for example, take ur 5th finger and put it down. now your first four fingers are up, the other 5 are up, meaning the answer is 45.
9x6, 6th finger down , now i have 5 fingers up on the left 4 on the right. so its 54.
works all 9x1 - 9x10

I multiply the number by 10 then take off the original number.
for example: 9 × 52 = (10 × 52) - 52 = 468

this is so good to cheat on a test or in the middle of class if the teacher calls you like she’ll say “okay faith what’s 9 x 1 = 9 i’m dumb

INSTEAD of having to write or memorize the entire table, try this...
9x1=9
Starting with 2 and up... The first digit of answer is one less than what you multiplied 9 by, then add both digits of answer together and it will also equal 9. So multiple ways to verify and you don't have to memorize an entire table for one answer.
9x2=18 (1 is 1 less than 2 and 1+8=9)
9x3=27
9x4=36
9x5=45
And so on, hope this helped somebody! I figured this out myself at a young age and it made this so much easier for myself and friends at the time.
