ОтветитьMost people will tell you that an Australian accent is trickier than a standard English one (for Americans at least). Somehow I can do a great AUS accent but every time I try a proper English one, it just comes out sounding Australian.
ОтветитьFinally, the infiltration can begin
ОтветитьI'm a Brit (Scot actually) and mastered several British and European accents. I have lived in the US for over 40 years. However, I still have trouble with anything but a heavy southern accent!
ОтветитьUsing this to fake my ability, "british" seems to be taken alot more serious than others
ОтветитьTbh I’m already a British guys and I have absolutely no clue why I’m watching this
Ответитьmy arm hurt

ОтветитьSo helpful! I really appreciate this because it's helped me several times (and I apologize for not thanking you then!)

Y’all I’m learning this again after years of acting since I am being called back for a British role that I really want 🧍😂
ОтветитьI’ve gotten the role of Grimsby in my high school’s musical this year, this is perfect for helping me nail the accent!
ОтветитьAs a U.S. American, I'm having a field day watching this and doing the exercise!

ОтветитьThank you, kind sir! You are a great professor :)
ОтветитьCan you do some tutorial on devoicing consonants such as Z and V since it's common in many Accents?
ОтветитьI hear you pronounce the 'r' in 'far' when it's followed by 'away', as in 'Mark's car is far away, sir' ... yes, it's really there.

Thanks Bro, great lesson! :)
ОтветитьWhenever I try a British accent, I almost always want to go towards the one that pronounces British like Bri'ish and water bottle like wa'e' bo'le
I don't even really know where that's from but it's always my first instinct
Thank you for the help haha (I am to be a master of all the accents, the Avatar: The last accent bender if you will)
The "hehe" at the end. Anyway, I'm trying to help my friend with his accent as we're doing a play at school that requires it and so I'm teaching him but I also have sent your videos to him
ОтветитьI have an audition in 2 days for a play that requires a British accent and this helped me alot thanks.
ОтветитьStruggling to find a way to do this with a very slight British accent as opposed to a born-and-raised Brit. I’m finding it easier to dive wholly into an accent than easing into it
ОтветитьNot an actor, but I've lived in England for four years and still have a noticeable American accent. I feel like people judge me for my accent and keep trying to ask where I'm from. I'm gonna learn this accent to do it in public.
ОтветитьThis is so fonny 😂😂
ОтветитьI feel like I’m a dumb or something, because I physically can’t leave out the “r” in some of those words.
ОтветитьI just watched this in late 2022, it's still relatable and fun to watch.
