I was gonna buy this exact laptop as a first, as the time I went to was too late and it was out of stock for the day (a bit odd ngl) so I had to wait another day, didn't end up getting it cuz I saw a better deal but if I ended up getting it it would've been a not so bad deal, I would be happy with it ngl

I bought a used Thinkpad T14 Gen 3 with IRIS XE as a coffeeshop machine. Nice to know it can run games. I would upgrade the RAM to at least 32GB. Mine had a 8GB soldered chip with one expansion so I have 40GB RAM in it right now. Runs brilliantly.

honestly now that it’s 2023 and i get this same chipset with 16gb ram for less than £400 i think it’s a sold bargain

Amigos, sin ofender, está computadora o todas las computadoras o laptops no son para juegos, por qué si tienen un procesador muy básico o procesadores muy potentes como core i5 o i7 si sin tarjeta gráfica como nvidia, lo que va pasar se va venir sobrecalentando los gráficos integrados muy simples por qué este video lo que subes usando está laptop para juegos muy pesados mi amigo, se va venir quemando el gpu por qué no está correctamente para juegos, sirve para trabajos o lo que sea pero para juegos no es una buena idea, es recomendable comprar una laptop gamer o PC gamer con nvidia para los juegos con requisitos mínimos y recomendados y fijarse bien lo que GB necesita pero tampoco se excedan ponerlos todo en alto si las tarjetas gráficas tienen pocas GB es recomendable que lo pongan los gráficos adecuados para que tampoco se termine quemando las tarjetas gráficas, espero que me disculpen y les sirva mi comentario para todos.

Intel is not competing against AMD, they are focused on winning against Nvidia. When intel doubles their iGPU and L2 and L3, you really won't need an external GPU any longer... with 180 graphics units backed by doubled L2 and L3 and high speed DDR5 - no one will waste money on an external GPU.

I have the same chip on my i7 Acer Aspire 3 and it's really nice, I have a dedicated gaming desktop[ right so I don't care about playing AAA titles on my Laptop, what I am interested in is games like LOL, Bluestacks emulation, a little bit of Eve online or Wow etc and man it handles them all on medium to high settings at the screens native 60fps. I mostly use the laptop for productivity, typing and all that good stuff but I do like to veg out and play League in between editing my CV and I don't have to get up and move to my PC because this little thing has me covered no problems whatsoever.

The Witcher 3 runs lovely 30fps low settings looks better than the switch I had bring it down to 1600x900 built up areas drop a little but plays a lot better than the switch port.

Thanks for your take on Irix Xe graphics. I have a HP laptop with i7-1260P cpu. I ran Fire Strike last night and got a score of 4778. I am very pleased with it. I have a desktop system that I can game on, but it is nice to know that when traveling I can do some mild gaming.

With the XE, what are the people thinking? IT IS ALMOST 4 TIMES STRONGER THAN THE NVIDIA 8800 ULTRA, WHICH CAN GAME LIKE A CHAMPION ON A GAME WITH GRAPHIC MUCH BETTER THAN A PS1 GAME!
