Iam just over a year sober! October 7th was my 1yr anniversary. Big thanks my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ! Also couldn't have gotten through without going to a rehabilitation center, after that I stayed at a sober house & of course continued therapy to heal the scars gained throughout my addiction.
I've also started an online class that teaches you everything about trauma, somatic trauma & healing.
W⁰W ... well that's a first. I've never stepped outside of my comfort zone to share a part of my journey w/ anyone other than my family or my fellow addicts/counselors. Ty for listening.♡
Sending good/motivating thoughts & prayers out to all addicts sober or not. May they find the strength/courage to take a step in the right direction to seek assistance in healing inside & out. Its 1000% worth it! Trust me when i say i couldn't do it alone. It might not be simple but it's way easier then covering up your pain with substances and living that lifestyle. Its worth it! Your worth it! Make those steps so you can live another day. The drug word is dangerous. More & more die each day from not only substance abuse but many other reasons involving the world of addiction. Lord be with us all.
