Panasonic S5IIx Pros and Cons vs Sony ZVE1 and Canon R8

Hi, I'm new at all this cameraing stuff but I joined in with a Lumix FZ330 bridge camera (FZ300 in the US/CA market) to test the waters and soon progressed to a Lumix S5II (not the X version). I don't have one of those Alien Atmos ninja things and to be honest I don't know what one is so it's probably best I bought the S5II not the S5IIX. Since buying the camera with the 20-60mm kit lens I've added the full set of Lumix prime lenses, 18, 24, 35, 50 and 85mm f1.8's one and all (What are Toneh's BTW for us late arrivals who just got here?), also I bought the 24-105mm t4 and the 70-300mm t4.5-t5.6 which you expertly placed gently on the ground in this video. The only lens left on my hit list is the Sigma 60-600mm DG DN OS Sport GTi Turbo NOS and will probably end up buying it as what else is there for the full frame L-mount with that zoom range?
While I'm no expert and don't know a thing about codecs, crops, cinematic blur, zebras and waveforms I know what I like when I see it and I like what I get out of my Lumix cameras. I'm still very much learning about exposing a shot well and how to create compression so I'm pleased when I manage to produce something that's nice to look at.
I'm still researching, reviewing, trying to digest information (not easy when you're my age and your brain has turned to mushy peas) but I watch videos, try to make sense of it and then go out in the wild or the streets to try and put the theory in to practice which is the best way for the information to sink in and make sense.
I'll probably never change "system" to Sony, Canon, Nikon or Fuji and while Panasonic / Lumix seem to be the dumb kid at the back of the bus in the eyes of the "Experts" I have to say I love mine, I love the ergonomics, the heft, the form of it in my hand with the Peak Design Cuff and being that I don't have any other experience of other brands to compare it to I do love my Lumix in my secluded little bubble so if I find a video which lets me know that the S5II isn't a bad choice or a questionable investment then it makes me happy. I'm sure you've mentioned in the past or future (as this is a 6 month old video) that the S5II is a better choice for most than the S5IIX so that's good enough for me.

I heard that the S5ii doesn't have USB-C streaming, though it may be possible through the HDMI to a Cam Link. I don't know for sure, though. I think the S5iiX does allow USB-C streaming. Maybe I'm using the wrong word. Web-cam? Is web-cam the same as streaming? Putting a video/audio signal directly to the computer.

Bro I own Multiple S5 II and a S5 II x. Love these Cameras and the 70-300 and ever the 24-105 are super dope.

Love both systems but why list a camera cage as things that you need to buy with the Panasonic but not with literally any other camera that you want to add attachments to?

panasonic should go back to their factory and work on a real 4k camera, we need 4k60 no crop and 4k120, and they need get rid of the noise in the fotage fuk

I sold the S5II and I only kept the S1. The S5II has terrible output with most PP. Too much sharpening and chroma noise reduction in video. V-log is better but I still prefer the V-log of the S1.

There is no need for Raw internally when having Prores 422 internally wich every mirrorless camera that goes for videos should have it. Raw will be good also but having Prores its more then enough and this is used in Hollywood

I'm that guy that helps the S5 ii x out.... I've got it rigged up all pretty with my video assist, ssd, and external battery. It's nice having so much power with a versatile form fsctor.

I shoot all my free time footage in FHD prores, and most of my client ahoots too. You can crop in pixel- pixel to in FHD, which gives your folcal length a 3.125 boost. That way, you can really reach out with a 300mm.

I do use sigma glass tho....
