European national leagues need playoffs if they want to regain some unpredictability. Salary cap can help but I don't think it's enough. In the playoffs the chances of surprises occurring are bigger. After all, do you prefer to compete against Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, PSG, Manchester City, etc., for one or two games or per 38 rounds?
