Pixel 4 has HDR feature, which can't turn off now, is there any solution for that? Bcz sometimes the pictures look very unreal with HDR.

I think google accidentally made the pixel 4a too good price/performance value even in 2024 this phone will be good. I actually like normal phones max 6" Inch size is the perfect size to watch content and also having comfort in hand and the weight is very good.

Thank you for the comparison. Agree with you that their cameras' performance almost the same. Maybe Pixel 4 is a bit better in some situations. And definitely Pixel 4 has a better mic. But it's not a game changer for upgrading. Please make a comparison of Pixel 3a and Pixel 5. Interesting to see the result.

It's the same camera sensor... I'll keep the 3a. I just got night portrait mode the other day.

Looks like a pretty similar camera experience. The 3a seems to have a slightly different white balance. The 4 has an advantage with zoom and portrait mode. Thanks for the comparison Grant 👍

Great Video! Ive seen alot of comparison videos of pixel phones and the colour temp seems to be sometimes warmer, sometimes cooler on either of the devices.

Hey Grant, or anyone else willing to help me. I'm considering to purchase the pixel 4a for my next phone, however, it costs 470 USD here in my country due to import tax, which makes it closely priced to a brand new Iphone XR(64GB, 530 USD). 60 USD difference I would say isn't that small for us but it also isn't huge at all. Throwing budget & os preference aside, which one is the better buy for the long run? I value camera+video experience & good battery life🤔 One of the things that is stopping me from getting the XR is the camera quality compared to the 4a (lack of night mode, white balance, reliability etc).

Will say pixel phones have not change their sensor for years now. Aside from a few software changes, pictures comes out the same. I feel like google is cheating consumers by tweaking their camera software to make it look like a "new and better" camera. The pixel really need to come up with better camera hardware for their next phone.

I like it when people compare phones from previous generations rather than always comparing it to other brand first. Always want to see if it is worth the upgrade. Thanks for the video.

My biggest question for all of these is which one was most accurate to the actual scene? The 3A seem to capture warmer shots than the 4 and 4A. Which one was more real to life?

I basically see the same photo quality on all 3 phones. And in comparison with the 5 the same thing happens. I'm wrong? Or is it that from the mobile they seem the same?

I sold my pixel 3A because 64 gigs wasn't enough for me with my music and pictures and videos and also it was starting to lag a little bit and I was going to get another newer Pixel phone this year but I think I will wait till next year and hopefully Google will update the camera hardware on the pixel line.
