Not a lot of trees downtown, makes it look dry kinda weird and sterile
Ответитьyou went to the wrong part of downtown tulsa. yinz should've went to the oil capital art deco district, imo.
ОтветитьParece uma cidade fantasma. Um ponto positivo é que você nunca irá que irritar no transito.
ОтветитьI lived in downtown Tulsa in the late 60's and early 70's. Totally different downtown! Didn't recognize much. What happened to the Cimarron Ballroom?
ОтветитьYou stopped just short of Greenwood (Black Wall Street).
ОтветитьTulsa has miserable weather. I think that's why the majority of people there are fat. No one wants to go outside.
ОтветитьWhere is everyone? Well bud, it’s the day after thanksgiving at noon… they are shopping. It’s Black Friday. Duh
ОтветитьDude drove through the crappiest most boring parts of downtown.
ОтветитьThey are either at work. At home, at a restaurant or running an errand instead of aimlessly driving through the warehouse sector.
ОтветитьUsed to have family that lived in Tulsa. Don't miss those trips lol
ОтветитьWhile watching this video all I could think about was the massacre. This was once the black wall street. I wonder what It would have been like today had it been left alone to thrive. I'd never visit because I'd just cry the whole time. That trauma lives in the DNA of every black person. 😔
ОтветитьPeople talk bad about tulsa either havnt been here or have never been anywere else
ОтветитьSo, you visit downtown Tulsa on the day after Thanksgiving, when the vast majority of downtown offices are closed for the day, and your title screen asks, “Where is Everyone?”. Gosh, I wonder! It’s a mystery!
ОтветитьDid a Chernobyl like nuclear disaster happen there or something? I don't think I've ever seen a major US city so devoid of moving vehicles or humanity. I might have counted 4 people walking around in the whole video. Just looks very bizarre to me...
ОтветитьI didn't see a single pedestrian.
ОтветитьI live in Fort Worth TX i like for the most part but they say Fort Worth will be the new Austin soon. If thats the case i'll move to Tulsa
ОтветитьWth theres no people it looks like a ghost town
ОтветитьI lived in Tulsa, and worked in the aerospace industry. I have nothing but great memories of the people there. The only thing I did not care for was the weather. If I had a choice between Texas or Tulsa, I would pick Tulsa. I recall my first thanksgiving there, people I did not know invited me over to their home for dinner. It has lot of southern hospitality charm there. You do need a car there, and Tulsa is very different than Oklahoma city.
ОтветитьWould you recommend a visit to this state for a UK tourist for his first trip to the USA?
ОтветитьTulsa is a bland boring place for the young. The downtown and buildings are mostly empty.
ОтветитьWould you care to name any of these so-called Tulsa BBQ joints?
ОтветитьIs any good looking women there
ОтветитьHave lived here on and off since 1997. One could do much worse than Tulsa Oklahoma.
ОтветитьIf Oklahoma is so heavy on religion whats up with all those Indian Casinos 🎰 down there Mississippi as well they also strip clubs down there as well
ОтветитьTulsa is also known for Oklahoma college football team and The Thunder bay
ОтветитьHello nick, how are you? I hope you are very well, i'm from panama canal zone
ОтветитьTulsa King 🙂
ОтветитьI moved here from suburbs of Cleveland ohio and while there was much more to do up there the benefits of living here are far greater. We have one of the most affordable housing markets, the traffic is never horrible, there’s still plenty to do, the community is largely friendly, plenty of safe neighborhoods, weather isn’t bad (fall lasts a long time, winters are short and the entire city shuts down for even an inch of snow lol) and the city is pretty. Good place to live especially for those like me who love to travel so I don’t feel like I’m ever missing out
ОтветитьI did not see Driller man or Caine's Ballroom or the Gathering or Chimis or Freddy's, Swan lake, Phillibrook ,Tulsa to me is a special place
ОтветитьGreat content, like all cities there are good and bad. We love our city though and would love to help anyone looking to buy and sell in green country!
ОтветитьThe elites are trying to make Tulsa a smart City to where everyone is controlled by the internet there will be no more jobs or vehicles and if you think I'm joking just look it up
ОтветитьLets see 🤔 the day after Thanksgiving and during the covid shutdown.............. l bet a lot of cities this size were like this in America in 2020. A lot of people who were able to travel were cooped up in house. Others were home with the day off or shopping were it was possible. Go there on a normal spring day this year in say mid April. One part of this video that should have shown the obvious was when he drove past the building having construction being done on it. Did you notice NO ONE WAS THERE THEY HAD THE DAY OFF.
ОтветитьOne thing not mentioned by other commenters and ignored by Nick is that Tulsa is being engulfed by turnpikes (toll roads). Coming into or leaving Tulsa is difficult without paying a toll on some turnpike. Not so in OKC, where both I35 and I40 are FREEways north south east and west. But then all the important state politicians work and/or live in OKC. My single biggest objection about Oklahoma is the state commits highway robbery by forcing people pay to use their roads. No other state has as many miles of turnpikes, per capita. And the people of Oklahoma don't seem to understand that they're being ripped off.
ОтветитьGreat time to video the day after Thanksgiving really...wow then you ask where he are the ppl. Your kidding . Plus the fact it's during covid .... And the streets you chose are disappointing. I live in Tulsa we are much more beautifull than this. .
ОтветитьThat's my birthday and I proudly live in Tulsa.
ОтветитьWhere are the people? Is it a ghost 👻 👽 town ?
ОтветитьLooks like a fun and great place to take a nap. No one is on the street and there's next to no traffic. Was this filmed doing the lockdown or what? Now I can sympathize with Stallone (the Tusla King).
ОтветитьWhere is Slvestor Stallone
ОтветитьThe only 2 things I know about Tulsa are it's Art Deco district and the Gathering Place neither of which seem to be featured in this clip. Looks kinda meh.
ОтветитьSomehow it reminds me of the size of Little Rock
ОтветитьGhost city
ОтветитьThis where blaqs pipo were massacred 💀
ОтветитьYou went downtown on Black Friday? Of course there would be nobody there. There are very few shops there & it’s a business area so most ppl would be off that day so it would be empty except for the homeless hanging out. The homeless shelters are down there so there are many homeless in that area
ОтветитьVery uninspired view of Tulsa . All the beautiful areas were excluded,
plus the gorgeous homes 🏠, shopping 🛍, culture, hills and suburban
areas. I grew up in Tulsa, but did relocate to Scottsdale, but I ever left
here, it would be Tulsa. Very liberal and LGBT 🏳️🌈 friendly. In fact was voted
one of the top 10 rated areas for my community to live. People take
pride in their homes , and are very friendly. 🙏🏻❤️You will love it here 🏆
Next time you’re in Tulsa we’ll give you a proper tour. 👍🏻 At least our building made your video! 😂
Thanks
You know it was Covid , right? Asking crazy questions. Liked the video though
Ответитьi really appreciate the drive through downtown to show me what it looks like
ОтветитьIs this city safe ?
Ответить
