It does take practice. I am nc 4 months w my narc brother, but i dont feel any relief or healing from his psychological torture yet.

It’s been just over 6 months, now I feel less anxiety. He does speak to one of our children, but I hope that he quits with the psychological abuse and stays with his fellow Narc that helped destroy our 24 year marriage

Almost 3 months of total silence. He blocked me after a fight and I want to thank you for this, because I will keep the silence going.

The silent treatment gets worse and worse. Now i am done with the torture, and go complete silent if he try to hoover me back in.

I learnt from him how to go silent and ended up better at it than him, block go no contact

I'm going at it with a Narc Ex since I wasn't invited to my son's wedding
