Are they ever going to go back to the original level system where it's based on xp and not the milestone for quests?

I opened 15 dark omen n got 4 mithic mounts..

I have like 5k trade bars saved up, full comp bolster and plenty tokens to upgrade if a new comp comes out so I never open boxes for bars. Like you said the descent is a good one but the drop rate can be horrible. A big one you missed, that you have, is the blood war lockbox. It has the spined devil which is selling for 3.5 mil since its great in trials for the debuff. As far as saving up trade bars for enchants, I really think they won't put any enchants on the trade house higher than epic/purple. They could drop legendaries but I feel like they'll cost months worth of vip bars to buy. So right now blood war lockbox is where its at, besides the comp you also have a chance at the infernal war machine mount which is one of the best imo since it has 3 universal slots for insignias.

yip, i've been using the succubus/incubus since they first appeared. once i have the stuff i want from the newer boxes i go back to the descent ones. i usually give the comps away to guild members :)

The only lock boxes worth opening are the one with trade bars

I am in the same postition on running out of vip but an not sure if even want to renew my nevereinter vip but the handy quick travel and mail box and seals trader makes vip worth even in months when i go through dry spells with not mount or companions. Then other time i am drawing mound and companions 3 to 4 weeks
