I don’t understand why all these rabbits cage videos all has wired floor?? Rabbits are very clean and they can be easily trained to use litter tray. All my 4 buns lives in 4 different hutches with tiled floors and using their own toilets. Very clean no walking on wires

That wire is too large, it will let snakes go through. By by babies.

Great video. I’ve never build cages so take this with a grain of salt, but without of a second pair of hands a zip tie or two might come in handy for attaching the top and bottom.

might be easier to make a box out of scrap to build the cage around until the final top or bottom

Why don't you put a clip in each Corner then go back and do the center you make it look like a monkey cracking a football

When putting the bottom onto the sides or the top I would do all the corners first and then go through the edges to keep the shape and hold it in place. Would be a lot more efficient I think.

I like the idea of hanging wire cages so I can move them to pasture if I want to and hang them back up at night.

I recently bought more rabbits I have arthritis in my thumb nuckles. When trying to put the j clips on I have severe pain. Is there any other way to fasten the cage together?

You probably don't know that rabbits have two different types of droppings. The soft ones they need to eat in order to get proper nutrition, and a smaller hard droppings that are the final waste stage. If your rabbits can not get to their large soft droppings they will eat far more food and still not get proper nutrition.

I hate admitting this after watching you use 1 cut of wire for all 4 sides, but I've been cutting out all 6 sides from rolls. No wonder it takes me so long building cages. And I'm having trouble finding rolls of 1/2 x 1 wire!

Nah, be a compassionate person and give them a decent home. Wire is awful on their feet an cruel. They can't even binky or run in that tiny cage.

Can you please tell me the name brand of your nipple water bottles for your rabbits? I am not having any luck with the water bottles with the ball and all I can find are water bottles with plastic nipples, which the rabbits will chew on. Love how well you explained the cage making and now going over to what how you made your nesting boxes. We are new to raising rabbits and my daughter is in Ag Mechanics so can make the boxes for us to use in the near future for our first litter. We have both learned so much from watching your videos. why use cage wire instead of hardwire cloth?

Not a hate comment but please don"t keep rabbits on wire bottom cages it causes sore hocks and other problems. And please use a water dish and not a bottle your rabbit will never be able to get enough water. Also never give rabbits so many pellets it causes obesity. and rabbits need tons of hay. they also need chew toys to stay stimulated.
