How do you know when the fish strikes?

Thanks for sharing this video Critical, but I have a problem..When i Cast it, that goes well, but when I click the right mouse button, the fishing rod keeps reeling in and don't stop. I see in your video the rod does stop..am I missing something or must I click on a mouse button or key to stop reeling in?? Thanks in advance for an answer...i really need that fish oil..as an alternative i placed 2 fish traps already..My base is also at the great lake btw.. :D

man i've played this game since alpha 46 and just right now i've figured out the reason why the fishes always escapes, i didn't do the left click!
