- Ultra model no longer has curved screen
In the past, I've always purchased the Ultra, because of the Plus model's inferior hardware. This year, the only significant difference between them is the zoom camera and stylus. I can live with that. Sucks for global Exynos users, though.

I liked the AI features. Great devices from Samsung.

Nothing much here to make a change worthwhile from an older phone.
S24 prices are ridiculously high as well.
An Android user can save money without giving up much and go with a recent pixel.
Save loads of cash and go with a refurbished S21 Utra 75% less expensive than the latest Samsung s 24 ultra
or a 2022 Apple 14 Pro which is selling renewed at half the price of the S24 Ultra.
In essence the S 24 line up looks good but the features are not ground breaking and the prices are crazy expensive.

Good review, I'm contemplating getting one, its been a while since I upgraded, the last phone I got was the S20. There's not really been anything worth upgrading too since.

UK get bumped with the cheap exynos cpu. Its put me off the s24 but in a dilemma as i hate the large bulky size of the ultra. Really annoying how samsung rips the UK off but not the US.

Okay so in comparison to my S10, the regular s10 is more comparable to the S10 fe, and the S24+ to the "regular" S10? Bec the S10 has both 4k resulution and more premium feel to it. Even thou it was the base flagship model?

I upgraded theough my carrier because they gave me $1k for the s20ultra. Samsung only wanted to give $400 so even with the credits it was way more expensive direct from Samsung.

Ordered the s24ultra. Upgradding from s20 ultra. A bit disappointed with the flat screen and squared edges but its time for an upgrade.

I use 15 pro max as a main and s23 regular size as a secondary device. I wanted to replace the s23 for s24, but i wont due exynos in europe , i will never buy exynos samsung ever again and im sick of treating EU worse than US. Until Samsung start to treat all clients equally i will never buy their phone even if its the Ultra that is SD everywhere. They have to stop doing this, it is not just spec.. it is always worse battery and thermal management on their exynos, if they were so equal why the Ultra is SD globally but s24/24+ are not and why s24/24+ are SD in US but EU is given this exynos ? Fok that bs.

Why dnt Samsung make a regular sized ultra lik how Apple has the pro n pro +….I want better cameras w/o upgrading to such a large screen

Megapixels mean nothing on small sensors. A disposal camera would outperform any smartphone & camera from 1930 would still take better pictures

Samsung has lost their edge. S22 is still good and plenty of AI tools that blow their "Free AI tools till 2025" out of the water.

Samsung is copying Apple more and more. The design of the S24 and S24 plus, the metal rings around the cameras, using titanium, no charger in the box, no headphone jack, the same gestures and animations. And now they copied much of the AI from Google. They don’t innovate

I just preordered the S24 Ultra violet. I really prefer the flat screen which will allow me to use a proper screen protector. I also like the violet two tone color which Samsung never had in a flagship device before.
