What a really interesting idea to produce a larger than normal CD package. I haven't actually bought vinyl for decades. The one advantage for me personally of vinyl was the size of the sleeve and as we all grow older CD print is getting harder to read. The closing track on this album has some of my favourite lyrics ever written - eg "Uncle Bimbo drank up the Sea of Galiliee but like a fool he promised it all to me".

That's a cool format! I love the custom Bolan label recreation. I have those Groover and Truck On 45s with those labels and the matching label sleeves. I like their soulful stuff!

Packaging no issue for me as I already have cd albums in the same or similar format by Fleetwood Mac, The Devil`s Blood and the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Totally agree, Phil. Absolutely love that packaging. Would be even better if they added felt sleeves for the discs.

I have the 2-CD deluxe CD (from 2002 I think) from Edsel, isn't this exactly the same but in a different package?
They have reissued T Rex/Marc Bolan quite a lot of times, but some other bands needs to get deluxe editions as well, like MC5, Blue Cheer and Devo etc.

50 years old and still sounds fresh snd original. Marc really was one of a kind.

3 of Marc's all-time greatest songs are on this album, namely Venus Loon, Change, and Carsmile Smith. The latter featuring one of Marc's best guitar solos.
