Excellent.
ОтветитьJust bought Blum, struggling how to install, thank you for your “help “!
ОтветитьSo if I want a drawer deeper than the slide, I can just glue in a piece on the underside of the front to screw the clips to. Great tutorial
ОтветитьIs it strong enough to mount JUST to the BACK CLIP (skip the holes in the side)?
ОтветитьI use these and also love them. Now I've been using them for a couple of years. I made mistakes , but
Learned from them. Great tutorial. Looks like you may have stock invested in festool lol.
very good information thankyou for sharing
Ответитьso the measurements are based on a certain size of wood, right? So I am using 5/4 pine so the measurements don't apply
ОтветитьThank you so much for this manual. THANKS FOR INCLUDING METRIC (!!) best video for drawer slides on the internet
ОтветитьOutstanding video, very helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you!!
ОтветитьThank you sir. U r the Man. Appreciate u for ur clear explanation. God bless you
ОтветитьVery helpful!
Ответитьmuch better than the official blum, thanks!
Ответить16 inch is 406mm, not 412mm
ОтветитьFantastic video thank you so much!
Ответить16" is 402 mm. Your 10mm off which is over 20% of the allotment
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьHow hard is it to install on old cabnet s with only one side other is open vid on that
ОтветитьThanks for your video, im looking your video with three drawers under mount sliding installation in box. Kindly make that video. Thanks
ОтветитьMinor, but important for me - what size or diameter should the pilot holes be for those stubby looking 1/2" Blum system screws designed to hold the sliding rails onto the side of the cabinet walls? THX! How many screws should be used for each slide rail for a heavy drawer?
ОтветитьGreat educational video! Thanks!
ОтветитьI cannot stress enough how superior your videos are compared to others. You have truly found your post retirement calling. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьSuch a good video. Best out there. Thx
ОтветитьComment 667 to save you from hell. Also to say thanks. Great concise info that is better than Blum's own videos. Thanks!
ОтветитьYes! Metric is so much better!
ОтветитьI have old drawers that I have sliding on the side and holding with a plastic at the end of the draw but they break easy. Can I do this project with the materials that you use?
ОтветитьGreat video. This may have been mentioned in another comment, but just in case it wasn't, there is another method for installing the slides that was not shown in the video. This will work in cabinets with or without face frames and even stickbuilt cabinet where there may not be sides between the bays. I know that this works with Knape & Vogt undermount slides so I am assuming that it will work with Blum slides. The slides can be screwed to the bottom shelf of the cabinet and/or to a shelf in the center of the cabinet. I recently converted a 3 bay stickbuilt base cabinet from 3 doors to 6 drawers by screwing the mounts to the bottom and center shelf in each bay. The holes are in the slides and as long as the screw heads don't interfere with the mechanism, you should be good to go. While not limited to face frame cabinets, this method easily solves the issue of face frame cabinets that are too deep to use the rear mounting bracket. By placing the slide on a shelf, there is no need for a side spacer or back support bracket.
ОтветитьThe Blum instructions and install manual use NL (Nominal length of slide say 450 in my case) but you can not make your drawer depth to this as it will be 10mm too deep as I found and then on re reading the instructions it is NL - 10mm to give you the inside drawer depth. You say make the draw the length of the drawer slide, not sure that I understand exactly what you meant by that. Great video helped enormously.
Ответить"Ask me how I know" 🤣
ОтветитьYeah nobody really has all those jigs in their tool box. show me how to do this with just a drill and a phillips head and I'll smash 'like'. I guess everyone that loves this has access to all the product specific tools.
Ответитьawesome video, thanks
ОтветитьGreat job! Between this video and the Jason Hibbs (Bourbon Moth) Cabinet Making video tutorial, I'm pretty confident. Thank you!

ОтветитьMy Blum under mounts don’t close the drawer all the way as they did originally. Is there any adjustment on the tensioning to get the drawer soft closed properly or do I need to replace the under mounts?
ОтветитьGreat info here wow
ОтветитьFantastic video! Thank you, very informative.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. 5 stars so good.
ОтветитьGreat video; thanks so much. I do have a question however. If I want to stack 5 drawers in a cabinet, with undermount slides, how much space do I need between the top of the lower drawer to the bottom of the next mount, and can i attach directly to the side of the cabinet, or do I need the horizontal brace?
ОтветитьAwesome video. Thank you . I do not understand any basic carpentry. But your channel helps me a lot. I have a blum guidance book as thick as a brick .Still No CLUE😂. Thank you
ОтветитьI think the manufacturer of this type of drawer slide, need to come up with a more efficient and simple drawer slide , there is no need for that pice of heavy metal, for just one simply drawer
ОтветитьWill this clear the hinges and door with this method?
ОтветитьExcellent video, thanks so very much for doing this. Made my install much easier and better.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThé best tutoriel ever seen …. Hat’s off 👌👷🏼
ОтветитьOne of the best videos! Thanks
Ответитьbut what if you are installing onto a typical kitchen cabinet drawer/door base cabinet vs. what I will call a commercial grade "box"?
